  • Wow, I didn’t know my husband was typing in tongues when he typed back to our daughter a few letters of gibberish when he was driving. He said it was his signal that he couldn’t text right now but that he got her message.

  • He is only a congressman because he “inherited” his seat from his grandmother, Julia Carson, when she died. He will be elected over and over again just like she was because he “represents” the inner city residents of Indianapolis. They take care of “their people.” So he can say anything he wants without worrying about getting elected again.

  • I agree with Fly Old Glory, Dave used to be funny. I laughed at him when he did the weather in Indianapolis, but have never liked his show. My husband and I laughed at this. More people need to stand up to what is going on. Dave did.

  • I am a Christian. I marked the “no” answer. Whatever this man does, he will have to answer for it, just as we all will for our own actions. Either in this world or the next.

As far as believing or not, my sister and I were raised in a Christian home. She married a self proclaimed atheist. When our aunt died, we rode together to the cemetery. She said, “I don‘t believe and I don’t disbelieve.” I answered her, “You will when the time comes.”

  • I remember this. I was about 11 years old and I lived in a small town north of Indianapolis..Our doctor was at the show and he helped the victims. He was greatly affected by it, as was our whole town.
I still remember the pictures of people under the rubble.

The Hoosier spirit of helping lives on.

  • No Gods

You DO care or you wouldn’t be on this site trying to get attention.

  • They did to protest the global warming scam about them.

  • That “in your pocket” is for a rainy day. You know, savings for something unexpected. Things may be worse next year.

  • @Saranda,

Education doesn’t depend on the money. It depends mainly on the quality of the teachers. Teachers who are there because they want to teach, not just for the money. Our daughter went to public school in Indianapolis for kindergarten. We were able to send both of them to our Catholic School for the next four years. She was behind in First Grade because of the poor public schools. When they went back to public school, they were both a grade ahead in their knowledge. The teachers at the Catholic School made far less money than the public school teachers, but they did an exceptionally better job. Then after a couple of years of public school, we started home schooling because they were bored. Why? Because of “No child left behind”. The teachers kept going over the information until every child got it. Why get up at 5:30 in the morning to learn 5 minutes of new information a day?

So I wish people would stop with the more money for education rants. More money doesn’t create a quality education.

  • I’m a Hoosier who moved to California two years ago. I too wish Daniels would run for President. He has done a good job for Indiana and my husband and I voted for him both times. He also helped me when I had a problem. I emailed his office and a representative of his called me back the next day. Problem solved. I wish the state of California was even half as well. We came here for the great desert weather.

As far as the Democrats, they always whine about everything if it’s not their idea. In Indiana, California and Washington, D.C.
