  Exactly. Now the taxpayers will have to pay for this teacher who is not teaching, the substitute teacher who is taking her place, and the procedures to (possibly but not likely) terminate this person. Way to cost effectively provide education.

  I cannot believe the blatant hate speech against vegetables and fruit from the PETA folks. How dare they say that vegetables are lesser organisms than animals? Do vegetables have parents? YES. Do fruits have offspring? Well.. no but fruit plants do multiply.

  I say that we eat and use only chemicals or some form of synthesized products.

  The $2B was not all fraudulent, just the overbilling. At least get the facts straight. How about instead of a stiffer penalty the spending is allocated locally by people who are involved in the local community.

  I would think that many of the billers, providers, and patients are doing this every day and getting away with it. The bureaucracy has no interest in policing the fraud they only wish to perpetuate the bureaucracy.

  So you hope that the taxpayers of the city, county, or state should pay these people for the actions of the police? If it is true the police that did this should lose their jobs and the cell phone(s) should be replaced.
