  All of you are taking pot shots at a serious talent and intellectual. Its bad enough that people think her acting has a cork in it, or the fact that in the kitchen she finds time to always cut cheese, or the fact that she happens to know a thing or two about an air biscuit, or possibly that she is always breaking wind about how much she hates republicans. To be quite honest, i feel she has quite a ripping career with many windfalls and blasts. To all haters out there, be sure to always mind “she who smelt it, was she who delt it.”

  The Ironic: Atheism IS a religion. It is the belief in nothing. The word belief constitutes a religious following. There are also multiple followers. If they are true in trying to “separate church from state;” they themselves must understand they too are pushing an agenda. This movement has been a sham from the beginning, and like all other religions: Most atheist groups are non- profit (like churches and other places of worship) they also except donations for their cause “beliefs.” I want to start a movement against these apparently uneducated, constitutional biggots; to make sure they cannot have the homefield advantage in america. We should be smarter than this and take this for what it is, an agenda driven organization with similar ideals to any other organized religion. Afterall, they are just as organized and profitable as any other.

  This is trading freedom of speech for the apparent “bastardchild” of freedom of religion. Religious practice does not fall under criminal offense. The atheist hobos responsible for this apparent lack of constitutional knowledge can blow their letter of intimidation straight out their a$$. I say, let it stay just to make the heathens uncomfortable. Btw, I wouldn’t consider myself atheist, but i am definitely not a strong practicing anything and I have no animosity towards any religious artifact hanging anywhere. Just don’t come to me preaching your religion or pushing your agenda to my face where I cannot escape.

  Smackdown33, the problem is you don’t like to be called out. Regardless where the source was; there is proof to back up my claim. I guess all you “university” types dislike plagiarism even in a comment response style setup. So, forgive me if I did not feel the need to site another author’s work. The words alone should of spoke for themselves, but you critiqued me on my writing style rather than the substance of my words. This goes to show you are less concerned about the truth and rather to the point of your own personal agenda. You stand for a group of generalized liberals that are “university educated” and you trumpet this like it is your paperwork to being in all situations correct. You and the rest of your “University socialist agenda trained” lout need to return back to school to learn how to stay on an issue.   I will agree somewhat with your statement as FDR was dead at the time of Israel’s creation; however, I will also note this:

  I’m going to be citing a lot of quotations from this book: A Calculated Risk: The U.S. Decision to Recognize Israel, by longtime State Department officer Evan Wilson, who died in 1984. Wilson found the following quotation in government records from 1945.

  “President [Roosevelt] told [mideast envoy Lt. Col. Harold] Hoskins that he ‘fully agreed that a Jewish state in Palestine could be installed and maintained only by force.’”

  Roosevelt made the statement a month before he died, post-Yalta, when he was determined to create a “trusteeship” in Palestine that would give rights to Jews and Arabs. FDR had lately met Saudi King Ibn Saud–and been struck by vehement Arab opposition to the idea of a Jewish state.

  Indeed, Roosevelt said to Congress, “I learned more about the whole problem, the Moslem problem, the Jewish problem, by talking with Ibn Saud for five minutes than I could have learned in the exchange of two or three dozen letters.” The “injudicious” statement caused “an uproar in Zionist circles,” Wilson reports. “Rabbi [Stephen] Wise asked for an early interview with the President.”

  @ steelhead… i don’t think you went to the right site fella… this isn’t CNN or Huffington Post. The problem really is this: nobody cares about your opinion. This post is declaring Beck to be a champion of the Israeli people in the United States; whereas you have in your ignorance voiced the side you support and it definitely is not in the best interest of our allies. Israel is an integral part of our national security in the middle east. Why may you ask?

  A). We created a foundation for their country with the United Nations in 1947 as a measure of good will to never let the atrocities of WWII further destroy the Jewish people. (Much a part in play by a president you probably idol when he is undeserved; FDR.)

  B). Why can you not validate a reason for the existence of the Jewish people in favor if a barbaric Islamic state? If you look at Beck as only doing this because of money; I would have to correct you. ALL AMERICANS should hold our pact with Israel to be integral to the preservation and good will towards our allies. Palestine is NOT an ally as they wish to destroy the Israeli people as do the people of Iran. Beck is trying to reaffirm our belief that what we did to create a safe haven for the Jewish people is understood and justified with this generation. If the US questions its belief that the country of Israel is “unwarranted” or was a “mistake” will prove to our enemies we are indeed weak.

  Unfortunately, this movement is going to start a CIVIL WAR. People always were like “OH NO, NOT IN THE UNITED STATES!! ARE YOU CRAZY???!?!?” But, I implore you look at the signs. We have a very prominent and very open Communist party that has cannibalized the liberal/democrat party and is inching its way ever closer to controlling our military, executive branch, judicial branch, senate… There is an offensive on the very foundation of this country. And everyone just stares in disbelief like deer at oncoming headlights. We need momentum and we need to send a message to the communist left they will NOT be able to succeed. If this requires us to rush headlong into violent conflict, so be it. I would rather die fighting than die a slave.

  Everyone keeps talking about “peaceful this” and “peaceful that” we need to start taking this into our own hands. There is a definite split between the left and the right; and it will turn into a mass conflict. i would rather be armed now and capable than allowing these louts to keep running rampant. We need to have our own military-esque police that does its job protecting the innocents in NYC who are victims of the Occupy protests by theft, assault, rape, murder, etc. this is a thug driven organization and should be treated as such… 1st amendment rights? yeah right. 1st amendment rights is peaceful demonstration (like the tea party) not forced hostile takeovers of city parks and other public areas. We need to stand up and actually stand for something. The time for using our words is past; and now its on to the real conflict before it is too late to fight back. If the occupy groups can attack police officers and destroy property, its about time some real time vigilantes get together and start busting some heads.

  Sorry for my harsh comments regarding this. But I do strongly believe the only way we can scare the living hell out of them is to actually try. Use torture even though people like John Mccain think its absolutely horrific. They need to know that not only will we kill them if they mess with the U.S. we need to do it in a way that they will NEVER attempt to infiltrate this country, or build victory mosques, or try to push the shariah law agenda. We need some Vladimir the Impaler tactics here, no respect for the life of the infidel; no mercy. Open season on any disagreeing Muslims. Otherwise, just like they say will occur; we will all be wearing burkas and praying to the east by 2050.
