  God created the heaven and earth from nothing. Is it so hard to believe that when Christ rose, the actual event left an impression of some sort on the burial cloth? And what was Christ supposed to do, take the linens with Him? What would He need them for? Hey Dad, look at my death shroud!! Can we put in in My baby book? I can’t understand why believers have a problem with the shroud? Maybe, just maybe, God understands his creation to the point that He knows the Apostles needed some form of proof to know He had actually risen. What would they have thought if they went into the tomb and there was nothing? They were with Him for three years and still didn’t fully understand everything He was teaching them. They were witnesses to His miracles including raising Lazarus and Thomas still needed to put his fingers in Christ’s wounds to believe. I guess I just answers my own question about believers. “Happy are those who believe without seeing me!” John20:29

  So you don’t think what ever caused the image to be on the cloth would be able to penetrate two pieces of cloth? If it wasn’t powerful enough, by your theory, then where does it say this was first wrapped around His head and then the burial cloth? Could be the other way around. Burial cloth then the cloth around His head. Regardless, we have an image of Christ crucified, with no explanation of how it came about. This is the most studied artifact ever!! I believe it to be the actual burial cloth. It really doesn’t change my belief in the Trinity. It only gives me an awesome visual of the actual event that morning when sin and death were conquered.

  Where did you get your information from? Seriously, you make absolutely no sense. You obviously are consumed by your hatred and have lost all sense of reality. Please, I implore you to actually do some research. Read all of the early teachings. Read how the Catholic Church came about, not from anti-Catholic books, but from the actual original sources. Again, I will pray for you.

  Why do you spew your hatred? Have you ever studied the teachings of the Catholic Church? I’m sure you have your anti-Catholic mantras down pat, but have never really done any research as to what we believe. I ask of you two things. Read the Catechism of the Catholic Church, and then research all of the beliefs, traditions and tenets of the Catholic Church. If you seek the truth, you will not be disappointed. I will be praying for you. I will also ask Mary and all of the Saints to intercede on your behalf, while I am praying for the souls in Purgatory.

  Hey Bernbart, show me the evidence that evolution is no longer a theory. Show me anywhere in the fossil records that show intermediates. I also would like to know how it took billions of years for dinosaurs to evolve from nothing, but it took less than 100 million years for the dinosaurs to be completely wiped out and for the human race to then start over from nothing and be more evolved than they were?

  You’re right!! It’s time for all of us who believe in the Constitution to do something about this. A small minority is dismantling our history and our rights that are supposed to be protected by the Constitution. We need to join together in unity and fight this. We can no longer sit idly by and watch this happen. Every time the courts produce a decision in favor of this minority, it makes it so much harder for us because the courts use prior decisions to make the next one. We must do something!! Let’s rise up now and put an end to this assault on our religious freedom before our freedom no longer exists!!

  EXPAT can I buy a vowel? Wake up! Is Glenn the messiah? Does he know everything? Why is Gingrich the only candidate that he is attacking? Why does Santorum get a pass? He’s voted for big government bills. He even called Newt his mentor. So why isn’t Rick the same as Newt? Maybe because Glenn really wants Romney to win the nomination and he thinks if he endorses Santorum, that will take enough votes away from Newt. Just saying.
