  Follow the $$$$$$$$$$$. Why would a school district DISCOURAGE home made lunches? Not because of “nutritional value” – the school is shoving “chicken/mystery” nuggets at these kids.

  Is the cafeteria SUBSIDIZED by the county, state or FEDERAL government? I bet it is, and the MORE school lunches they force on kids, the more $$$$$$ they collect.
  Get a big contract, serve CHEAP FOOD and pocket the difference.
