  • In the News: The CIA has broken up an underwear bomb plot by Al Qaida. Meanwhile, the Secret Service has broken underwear.–JG :)

  • No, these are not “flying cars” these are airplanes that you can drive on the highway, though it should be obvious that no one in his right mind would drive one of these toys on the highway. This is the same design from the 40s. A true flying car would not require a pilot’s license and would be affordable to the average consumer. It would fly at the push of a button, move in coordination with other flying cars and it would use 21st century technology in the computers and the engines.

  • From the novel “Teen Girl from Mars” (Abraham Windsor, a man in his 70s who grew up on Earth, is describing to teenagers, 2 of whom who grew up on Mars and one who grew up on an asteroid, what life was like in the 2160s back on Earth.) “We had the same meteorological technology on Earth as you do on Mars or Luna or Ceres. The weather could be controlled to some degree but it was decided that wasn’t wise. God made everything for a reason, even those things we don’t particularly perceive as being helpful to man’s ambitions or desires. The main reason for the continued success of any society is a public recognition of the Lord as the source of our bounty and rights. The Old World- the United States of America that was lost in the 21st century- slipped away because people stopped believing in Providence. It took decades but the opponents of freedom slowly convinced the people that God was a myth. With no God, mankind became the arbiter of justice and the provider of rights. It nullified the fabric of right and wrong making those benchmarks matters of perspective. When you choose not to believe in Light, and the freedom it brings, darkness invades and you become a slave. Where once was family; there is dissolution. Where once was determination; there is complacency. Where once was joy; there is hopelessness. Where once was reason and abundance; there is lawlessness and scarcity. Such is life without God.”

  • Victoria Jackson is a brave, compassionate, concerned American. God bless her for attempting to bring to light this dark force menacing our country. Our enemies are not so bold as to wear uniforms and openly state their goals, they work behind the scenes to manipulate the American society. Sadly, Americans will not recognize it until it is too late.

  • I think we’ve found who ate 99% of the donuts.

  • The movement against Occupy Wall Street is called maturity. It needs no “mic check” for it quietly blossoms into adulthood.

  • At no time did Tim Tebow state that God had promised him a victory on the football field rather he repeatedly has stated that God has promised him victory in life. The mass media cannot understand that simple promise. I am sure money is being passed around Gainesville trying to find one dejected girlfriend who’ll accuse him of sexual assault. Gloria Alred is already smearing her lipstick and licking her chops.

  • Top Stories on AP 12/19/2011: 1. Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie and kids attend Michael Jackson Cirque show. 2. Firefighters extinguish blaze in vacant home, save rabbit. 3. North Korean leader Kim Jong Il dead

  • I have a feeling that White House Press Secretary Jay Carney is going to say that the Americans had an obligation to inform the Afghan government about the flight path of the helicopter carrying Seal Team 6. I suppose that’s courteous and politically stout to keep our “allies” in the know. -JG

  • Americans need their own homeland, free from roaming bands of savages with police, judges empowered to keep us safe and free.
