  Most people don’t realize the section 179 tax credit expired on 12/31. there was a mad dash by businesses to spend on machinery,equipment, anything else the business needed because of the write offs. this is typical at the end of every year but this one was bigger than usual. Now there will be a reduction in capital expenditures which will result in another fall in the economy. layoffs are coming soon.

  i’m not a Romulan but I understand and would have walked out too. It’s like that stupid aquabuda thing they kept bringing up against Rand Paul. It has no bearing at all on current issues. They don’t want to address current issues with how crappy our President is, they want to bring up 20 year old dirt that isn’t even newsworthy and spend the entire interview on it. OUR COUNTRY IS BROKE PEOPLE! Demand these reporters cover the real issues and not the BS!

  Both those church members and you are way off base. If GOD was out to punish everyone there would have been no need to watch his son be tortured and crucified. Just look at that from a truly logical standpoint. These people made this stupid decision (as well as most other people in the world) based on tradition and family beliefs. GOD did not sanction his abuse. Not even “spare the rod spoil the child” applies in that situation. The love of GOD is not in them.

  you’re right. Why don’t the form a rural volunteer fire department? i‘ll bet the city would give them guidance and then they wouldn’t have the problem. It would still take some kind of tax or revenue to pay for it, though. then you’re right back to the $75.00 fee! I would assume the asked and made sure no one was in the house. If there was, i‘d hope they’d save the person. I think there is laws requiring that. Like a Dr. can’t pass someone having a heart attack and not help. I may be mistaken though.

  I live in the area this happened in and a local question is floating around. A male teacher referred to a 12 year old girl as “luscious” and got a talking too but a 9 year old student got suspended for calling a teacher cute. it’s creating some contention.
