Indiana Gov. Prepares for Massive ‘Right to Work’ Battle
January 3, 2012 at 3:04pm
Apparently you like Obama as President. If Paul were nominated (very unlikely), Obama would be President for another term.

Romney’s Low-Key Iowa Strategy Faces Test
July 3, 2011 at 8:56am
No matter how well organized or well funded a candidate is, substance and record count. Romney falls short on both. I can’t see how he gets the nomination. If he is nominated, I can’t see him beating Obama.
First criterion for a Republican candidate: how will he/she fare against Obama. Other stuff is important, but not as important.

Or even their members’ interests in the long term.
Wisc. Union-Fighting Gov. Portrayed as Egyptian Dictator
February 16, 2011 at 9:48am
Government workers should not be allowed to strike and should not be allowed to bargain collectively; the conflict of interests is obvious. However, those may be difficult ideas to sustain in Wisconsin.

Coulter at CPAC: Christie Must Run or Nominee Romney Will Lose in 2012

Did Mitch Daniels Give the Most Important Speech at CPAC?
February 12, 2011 at 4:47pm
I just watched his speech to CPAC; it totally blew me away. I have heard he has no personality, but that would not be discernible in a prepared speech. The speech and its delivery were great.
About Daniels‘ comment that we need people who haven’t listened to Rush, Sean, etc., he didn’t say we need only such people. What he was saying is we need as many people as possible and we must also appeal to those who are not much interested in politics at all. Several comments here have mischaracterized those remarks.
He‘s by far the most promising candidate I’ve seen so far. He has no baggage, is serious and thoughtful, a great track record, all the right ideas, and doesn’t seem prone to gaffs. What a pleasant contrast to Obama.
AZ Sheriff Authorizes Lethal Force Against Cartels, Bandits
December 25, 2010 at 7:41am
If, as the feds argue in the Arizona lawsuit, this is a federal responsibility, why does the local sheriff have to do this? More power to him, but the feds should be doing this, using overwhelming lethal force.
Will New Census Redistricting Edge Rep. Kucinich Out of Congress?
December 22, 2010 at 12:59pm
I don‘t like Kucinich’s politics, but you have to admit he makes the Dems look silly sometimes (a good thing).
