  • Arrest Zimmerman? What are you going to arrest him for? All these people calling for his arrest seem to have forgotten that this is the United States of America, not Russia, Iran or some other country lacking in a true Constitution and Bill of Rights. If law enforcement had the evidence that he committed a crime they would arrest him, I am sure. If the investigation uncovers some evidence of a crime, I am sure he will be arrested. Since when in this country do we arrest someone just because some people protest and demand an arrest? The rule of law is part of what this country was founded upon. Let law enforcement do its job. Stop prosecuting him in public and give law enforcement a chance to work. If the evidence is that Zimmerman committed a crime, he must be tried to a jury of his peers. If the evidence is that he acted in self-defense, then he should not be put on trial. We also cannot the left use this event as justification for gun control and vilifying laws that allow us to defend ourselves. While this case is tragic in that there was a loss of life, the left is shamefully using this to push its radical agenda of stripping us of our Constitutional rights.

  • Biden said this morning that we need to “debate” gun control. Don’t let a crisis go to waste, isn’t that what this administration believes? This local crime was turned into a crisis by the left. They are going to take full advantage of it. First they attacked the laws, i.e., the stand your ground law. Now they are going to use it to justify gun control on levels we have never seen. I am telling you right now, if Obama is elected he will have more flexibility not only to sell us out to the Russians but to take our Second Amendment rights away in the process. We are at a crossroad in our history. What are we going to do?

  • There is a story on MSNBC on two “experts” who claim that they have analyzed the screams heard on one of the recordings. They have concluded that while there is about a 48 percent chance that the screaming is from Zimmerman and because they dont have a sample of Martin’s voice, the voice must be Martins. NBC and MSNBC simply do not care about the facts of this story. They will report anything that furthers their agenda of creating racial tensions in this country.

    Boycott NBC/MSNBC.

  • Exactly. I only wish that the clowns could spend some time in Iran or NK to see just how great America really is. I can never understand why all the haters of America stay here. If they hate it so bad, why dont they just move? There are a number of other countries that would fit his utopia of a socialistic system.

  • Actually, Bill, it looks like NBC are the liars. So far it looks like everything that Zimmerman has said has been true. You see, Bill, when you dont know all of the facts you really look stupid accusing someone of such things when the facts come out. We can call you an idiot because you have proven yourself an idiot. We cannot call Zimmerman a murder or a racist because the evidence has not proven that he is either of those. Facts are stubborn things, Bill, you idiot.

  • Zimmerman has been labled a racist, primarily because of this NBC doctored tape. NBC and MSNBC are largely, if not entirely, responsible for the escellation of racial tensions that this story has caused. They should be held responsible and they should be sanctioned by the FCC. The problem with that is that the FCC would never interfer with the grand agenda of this administration. I think a boycott of NBC is in order.

  • This is exactly why we all need to wait until the investigation is complete and all of the evidence is developed. No one in the media and no one calling for Zimmerman’s death (i.e. NBPP) have access to the evidence in this case. It is particularly troubling to see Chuck Schumer calling for a federal investigation into the stand-your-ground laws. One thing seems pretty clear from the 911 tapes, this is not a case of stand-your-ground. The question in this case is whether Zimmerman acted in self defense. If he did, he acted legally. If he did not, he should be prosecuted. Dont let the liberal progressives use this as a tool to limit our ability to defend ourselves, especially since it appears that they are hell bent on creating some extreme racial tensions where certain groups want to do harm to people based upon the color of their skin (i.e. NBPP).

By the way, can someone tell me what a white Hispanic is?

  • Where are Sharpton and Farrakhan demanding justice in this case? Does anyone know if they have even commented on the case?

  • I am no Romney fan but lets be fair here. I am also a registered Republican but I am not connected to the party in that I don’t get involved in their political activities, fund raising or other things. Lets judge the man by his positions (or lack of positions) rather than whether he is connected to the party. I see this clip as a non-issue, especially since we don’t even have the entire interview.

  • You miss the point and you missunderstand the court structure. State law controls substantive contract law when the contract deals with private citizens. Beside, this judge did not “apply” Islamic law to anything. He interpreted the private contract between the parties. This has nothing to do with federal law, sir. RPP is 100% correct.
