  • Having resided in the bucolic, tranquil, overtaxed, leftists controlled, bedroom based, county of Orange, most liberal county in North Carolina since the mid 70”s,annnnnnnnd…..questionable “home” to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, I can assure you; “THIS PLACE SUCKS”! BIG TIME!! UNC is clearly the Berkeley of the east and due to the fact that UNC students get to vote in local elections, regardless of whether they’re in state or out-of-state, all of Orange County is controlled by the trolls in the southern part of the county. This incident pertaining to the actions of this Muslim and her minions further strengthens my conviction that none of these idiots know the true meaning of freedom and could not care less how these freedoms were obtained. If Mariem Masmoudi thinks, for one minute, that this type of behaviour would be tolerated in a country governed by Sharia Law she would immediately be dealt with and would NO LONGER exist. Of course the question arises in the minds of a few…..why don’t I leave…..I would if I could afford to, wouldn’t look back, and would continue to pray for those that remain(ed).

  • re: Leo.

There’s already such a listing pertaining to the “jump & run” sponsors…..go to this site…..fatherof10.com and you’ll find what you speak of…..among some other conservative material(s) as well. I visited this site, for the first time, a couple of days ago and found it to be informative and very much in line with my views and beliefs.

As for referring to Sandra Fluke as a “lady”…..my mom taught me that all women ARE NOT ladies and it‘s a reference to females that isn’t automatically applied, BUT, has to be earned! Clearly, Ms Fluke is not and has not shown herself to be a LADY!

  • Bob Barnes, assistant superintendent of curriculum and instruction, told the McClatchy News Service Thursday that the first preschooler to make headlines just misunderstood her teacher when she thought she was told to ditch her homemade lunch for one from the cafeteria: The cafeteria items were only meant to supplement the food groups missing from the homemade lunch.

With the preceding having been taken from the main body of the story…..I’d like to emphasize the following:……. just misunderstood her teacher when she thought she was told to ditch her homemade lunch for one from the cafeteria: …….If this be the case, why would the “teacher” not monitor the student in order to assure that “DIRECTIVES” were followed to the letter of the so-called law??? As for quotes from other sources indicating that the teacher and various “guvment ofishells” are JUST DOING THEIR JOB(S)…….my pat response…..so was Joseph Mengele and Adolph Eichmann.

  • Well…….BOBBBBBB…….You certainly hit a nerve on this one!!! I hated the fact that FOX dc’d Beck and was none to enthusiastic when THE FIVE was announced as a replacement…..BOY WAS I WRONG…..I still miss Glenn, but….., as far as I’m concerned, THE FIVE has risen to and surpassed that which was expected. Admittedly so…..Bob DOES cause grit in my craw, but he is still an integral part to the ebb and flow of the show, as is Juan Williams when Bob takes his short sabbaticals. The entire cast is complementary as well as crucial to each other and the viewers. When it comes to the absolute nonsense that sometimes flows out of Bob’s mouth…..I find myself becoming rather agitated and then I have to give pause and consider the source. Bob has a mental block and for him to EVER admit wrongheadedness he would have to do some recanting. BOB ISN’T GOING TO RECANT…..PROGRESSIVES APPARENTLY DON’T KNOW HOW TO RECANT. Kim, Andrea, Bob, Eric, Dana, Greg, please accept kudos for a show well done!

  • supposed to be…..focused his attention on me…..oops!

  • A “similar” incident happened to me and my son many years ago at the North Carolina State Zoo in Asheboro. We had ridden our bikes (M/C’s) from Hillsborough for a visit and were standing in the viewing area of the gorilla habitat. At this particular time there was a full grown male silver-back sitting and eating, he was ~25-30 feet from where we stood with the 3-inch thick Plexiglas barrier assuring our safety and his as well. He (the silver-back) focused his on me as soon as we entered the enclosed viewing area. I was wearing dark clothes, a dk grey leather vest, and a dk grey Greek fisherman’s cap. The male silver-back immediately stood up and walked directly to where my son and I stood, turned half way around and sat down immediately in front of me as if for me to groom him. We maintained that closeness for a rather lengthy period, even though the Plexiglas barrier was still thankfully in place, and an immediate sense of “this animal trusts me” slowly spread through my being. I’ll never forget that experience and, to some degree, I’m able to identify with the man in the video. Years earlier I had another pleasant encounter with a porpoise while on honeymoon in Florida, BUT…..that’s another story. To wind it up…..this sort of interaction with so-called “wild” animals does somehow alter ones perspective; continue to be cautious…..refrain from being foolish; that’s when someone usually gets either hurt, maimed, or killed!

  • The following two definitions garnered from Urban Dictionary:

Latin borrowing meaning “in and of itself”, used in certain fairly specific, idiomatic contexts in casual English. Is typically used with a negative to indicate that a term being used is understood to be imprecise or off-the-mark (i.e., not accurate ‘per se’) in a case where the term is nevertheless useful to an explanation. Usually followed by an explanation or justification for the use of the term indicated.

    1. It is as well sometimes used preceding a term indicated, especially in more formal (e.g., legal) usage. In these contexts, usually used in the positive to reinforce a characterisation as fundamentally being the case (i.e., ‘per se’ accurate).

    2. A Pretentious term, often used both out of context and too often by people who would like to sound more intelligent than they actually are.

One example given by Urban Dictionary:
“I know that you are my best friend but if you continue to use this phrase i shall have to kick the living **** out of you”…”Ok i wont kick **** out of you per se but i`ll certainly make you wish you had never said it”

Another example given by Urban Dictionary:
Its not that these people are stupid, per se. Its usually the case that they are self-educated.

    Annnnnnnnd…..One more:
I wouldn’t call her short, per se. Maybe vertically challenged.

Joe Bitme seems to be a combination of schooled and self-educated…..more of the latter than the former.

  • Does anyone need more of a reason NOT to read and/or subscribe to TIME than THIS SORT OF CRAPULENCE???…….oh…..wait…..Joe Klein!!!

  • one dendrite, one synapse, one neural pathway…..The preceding is a brief description of Hanoi Jane’s cognitive process…..Has anyone ever benefited more from the Republic and yet…..been more critical of same???

  • MOEMUNY, MOEMUNY,MOEMUNY…..that’s probably THE major factor behind this unseemly pairing. I USED to fortuitously tune in and observe Joel’s posturing and listen to his espousing. Doesn’t take one long to realize that “what we have here” is the SELLING OF JESUS. As in the guise of so many others, it’s just another vehicle for him to hitch himself to and smile all the bigger and shout PTL all the louder.
