  • I have to agree that the video doesn’t lean the evidence one way or another. What it does is add more uncertainty to an already volatile situation. The facts of the case are they will have affidavits of the officers on the scene, the witnesses on the scene, the emt’s on the scene. They will have high-res photographs in the dozens, if not hundreds, of the scene, Trayvon’s body, Zimmerman’s head, face, hands, etc. There will be forensics, ballistics, you name it. All of this will be bundled up with a final report and placed on the DA’s desk or before a grand jury or both for “them” to decide whether to prosecute Mr. Zimmerman. It is not the media‘s place to provide evidence for the mass audience to decide this man’s fate before he even gets close to a court room. They are intentionally or not, fanning vigilantism.

I do not envy the law enforcement, the DA, nor the court system’s job piecing all the facts together in this case. With all the damage the media is doing in this place, the courts will be very hard pressed to fill a jury with “unbiased” peers if this goes to trial.

My personal opinion is it looks fishy from both sides of the event. Zimmerman should have listened to 911 dispatch and not followed Trayvon. Trayvon was not as innocent as his family would have you believe with his H.S. suspension and “possible” drug and stolen good possession that I have seen in the news reports. I pray the truth can be found.

  • Seriously!? You guys ripping on the driver have no clue. The car lost control due to mechanical failure. Secondly, all NASCAR drivers are trained to get to the center barriers of the track for safety. If you had bothered to watch the whole video he talked to the jet truck driver in the ambulance (which was provided by trained and qualified emergency response crews) to see if he was ok.

On another note, NASCAR was under this self-perceived notion that they absolutely had to have that race yesterday. Yes we know why it was delayed. So what? Wait until it is safe to have the race. If you need a jet truck riding around the track to dry it, then maybe you should have delayed the race until the next day.

  • Thank you WH! You just gave us another reason not to vote for Obama 2012. What did Pelosi say, “You gotta pass it to find out what’s in it.” Give me a break. Even one of your Dem supports said last week that if she had known the birth control mandate was in the bill, she would not have voted for it. THAT’S CALLED READING THE FREAKING BILL, MORON!

Blindly passing legislation because the majority speaker OR the minority speaker is asinine! I am, more than ever, all for throwing all of congress out on their collective butts, rewriting congressional procedures based on the CONSTITUTION, imposing term limits on EVERY branch of government, then reelecting the REPRESENTATIVE members of our government.

  • “THIS IS WHAT DEMOCRACY LOOKS LIKE!!!!”

    /sarcasm on
Those despicable Tea Partiers cleaned up after themselves in DC. They didn’t even inconvenience regular tourists that day. Think about the park maintenance staff! Think about the police! If they don’t have anything to do, they might lose their jobs!
    /sarcasm off

  • That’s what I was thinking too. Instead of opening a committee to make voter fraud harder, what is the AG doing? Going to bring wiretapping charges against O’Keefe. Seriously!? Rats.

  • I totally agree. Communism is a great concept. It is a fairy tale where everything is equal. No one has more than his fellow man, and everyone’s needs are met. I agree also that throwing a human being in the mix messes it up from the start because we are wired, naturally, to get a bigger pile of “things” than his or her neighbor. In every society there have been the haves (kings, princes, presidents, chancellors, warlords, kinpins, etc) and the have-nots (slaves, peasants, serfs, peons, common folk) from the beginnings of time! That is why Communism will never work.

  • Seven comments and your bringing religion into this? Sick man!

This has nothing to do with religion in any form. These were the acts of two SICK individuals that ruined a young woman’s life. There is no place for them in civilized society.

  • I gotta agree with you all. These two need a date with a chemical cocktail syringe.

  • Probably the same way your body already removes dead cells. The gold nanoparticles are inside the dead cells, they go out with the other waste products.

  • @lylejk I hear where you are coming from. I do not give any credit to any of the allegations. I think the lawyer’s letter is the most damning. OR I digress, maybe I am misreading into this. Maybe, probably, the Cain camp is getting claim fatigue. I wish this were the case. Either way Cain has taken a huge hit in the polls because people are just like me, how can we be sure? If it were one accusation, we could probably write that off as someone seeking their 5 minutes.

Now after what, 5 or 6 accusations and now a 13 year relationship that Cain’s lawyer rebuffs with “Rather, this appears to be an accusation of private, alleged consensual conduct between adults – a subject matter which is not a proper subject of inquiry by the media or the public. No individual, whether a private citizen, a candidate for public office or a public official, should be questioned about his or her private sexual life. The public‘s right to know and the media’s right to report has boundaries and most certainly those boundaries end outside of one’s bedroom door.”

It is that response that is giving me the most pause on the whole media fiasco. The possibility of at least “some” of the allegations being true just went up a notch.

Lastly, I say Gingrich because there is no way in you know where that I am supporting that yes-man, say anything to get elected, Romney.
