  Sorry Rose-Ellen, but terrorist has a meaning; a definition. Look it up, to quote the great Mike Malloy. A terrorist is on that uses terrorism as his/her method with which to affect change. Terrorism is the intentional targeting of civilian populations with the desired effect being that the populace will rise up and apply pressure to the leadership to make changes to policy. We know that this does not fit the US because Sadaam didn’t give a flip about his populace so terrorizing them and causing them to rise up would not have worked at all. I would also caution you to be careful with such words, as well as Mr. Malloy’s calls for the murder of Bush. Remember that this war is Obama’s, he is the commander in cheif, he can end it whenever he wants but after almost three years in office he has stepped up attacks, he has send troops into a sovereign nation with the intention of killing people. Be careful, you can’t throw that saddle on the previous administration without also putting it on the current one.

  The real question is, now that Carter has been unseated as the worst, why is his right hand man still defending the title. Mr. Mondale let it go. Let Barry O. take the title as worst ever, it can only help the Carter legacy of which you are a part.

  The Commander in Chief can order a military satellite to be positioned over the mall with a single sentence read from a single teleprompter. Far fetched? maybe. But maybe not, if a good photo could then be circulated just in time for the elections.

  Well, it seems that this comment is so far down the list it will never be read. Oh well, I’ve wasted more time than this before.

  Anyone else notice that the build up to 8//28 was all about ‘how dare Beck desecrate the memory of Dr. King’ Yet now, only a little over a month later, they can’t even remember what day it was on?
  Does that mean that the left doesn’t care about Martin Luther King Jr., or does it mean that they weren’t really all that upset about the 8/28 rally to begin with.

  Only thing I know for sure, is that if they were really so incensed over 8/28, and the memory of King, then they would most certainly have remembered the correct date.

  The reason is because Mexico doesn’t want to become part of the US. If they did then they (Mexican government) would lose all their power. The corruption would end, and they, the leader, wouldn’t gain a thing for it.
  The populace wouldn’t gain a thing either. Poverty would still run rampant because there still wouldn’t be any jobs.
  We wouldn‘t want that because Mexico isn’t self reliant. They don’t have much in the way of infrastructure. Their roads are crap, their water treatment is crap. their electrical grid is crap. Police and fire are crap. Police in particular. If we moved fully trained law enforcement personnel in there, the drug lords would eat them alive. Your worried about Billions spent so your solution is to spend trillions AND start a civil war?
  Have you thought it through? Exactly what it would take to bring all areas of Mexico up to the standards of your favorite state. By areas I don’t just mean geographic areas but also in terms of economy, civil service, infrastructure, all of it. Have you thought about who might reject such a plan on in the south? Have you thought about why some people might reject such a plan?

  Whew, Glad your not king of the world.

  Even if we accept your figure of 32% for the GOP that still leaves you short.
  Rasmussen puts the presidents approval at 29%, and that already includes mothers and children. So that means the GOP has a 3% edge straight off. When you then consider that this country is center right, then you see the trouble your in. Then 39% left as undecided could be said to be 39% center RIGHT. A far left president is going to have a very hard time pulling the center RIGHT to the LEFT. don’t you think. This should be even more alarming when you consider that your numbers are crap and meant to be insulting to us on the right, but even if we use your figures, your in trouble. Talk about FAIL.

  Pay attention from 1975 on. It is true that this war is not against a single nation, but rather against a mindset, and therefore all of these things a valid. These people have been trying to kill us for whatever their twisted reasoning is, and for you to try to break it down to politics is absurd. These people will, and have killed democrats just as surely and happily as they have republicans. They have stated their intention to eradicate us, and they have been working on it steadily. G W Bush is the first president to engage the war as a war. That does not mean that I in anyway hold him up as some sort of hero, fact is that 9/11 was a step too far, and the reaction was inevitable.
  Feb. 26, 1993 was the first attempt at WTC and was treated as a law enforcement issue. USS Cole was attacked, an overt act of war. treated as a law enforcement issue. USS Stark attacked by Iraqi fighters, now I know, they say it was an “accident” but they also said Santa Clause was real too.

  Just look at the history, these people want us ALL dead, and to play politics with it is suicide.

  And BTW no I don’t care what the reasons are, they stated that they wish to destroy us, they have been working to that end, so no I don’t care.
