  • Sad you can not be truthful about the article.
Death in the name of your god means your natural death? Now that is news to me when we see those that kill and say they do it in the name of your god even you are doing so. You guys can not even tell the truth when you are explaining it.

Also being a believer in Christ is not as you say. We do not live for him, we live in him. Their is no government control. No laws we must follow. Jesus took our place in all things.

“best Christians we can be is our aim” is control. We do not work for salvation. That work was done when Jesus died for us and rose from the dead for us. All we do is acknowledge that He did this and trust (which is our faith) that we are saved. We are not born into a saving religion. It is always a personal choice after hearing what Jesus did about 2000 yrs ago for all the world.

You see the world through a religion that you are born into and controlled by fear and superstition, which by the way is what non muslims call a religious cult.

  • The moderate muslims with their own unGodly Constitution.

Well at least we will have something to point to and compare to our Godly principled Constitution to their moderate one. Let us see the results as soon as it becomes the Egyptian Law of the Land (as if we did not know already).

  • The 13 colonies were of protestant doctrine, as states they were religious states. The first amendment was to limit the general government so as to guarantee the 13 states retain its liberty of doctrine, speech and press.

We have so left this idea by way of PC and liberal schools of thought.

  • Were do we sign up for Freedom From Atheist?
    and homosexuals,
    and child molesters,
and pro deathers (happy moms child killers day)
    and liberals,
    and muslims,
    and animal haters,
    etc.

  • No but we do need the blessings of God.

    @Endeavor1
So you need a day declared for prayer to be able to pray? C`mon, this whole thing is a waste of time on both sides. Religious people don’t need it as much as atheist do.

  • Yes so would I. No time like the present to take that to the SCOTUS. We need to know where they stand on states rights.

If 38 states sign up for an amendment they can change the USC to anything they please, going over the heads of Congress, president and Court.

I love this one, every 10 yrs a majority of Governors must ok each Justice on the Supreme Court or that Justice will automatically be retired. This way states gain back some power over a runaway court system.

  • It is thou shalt not kill the innocent or murder. To kill is to pronounce judgement. Those people that God judged is to point to the real future of the damned. When we stand before him we will not be able to say he gave us no example to point to.

Noah. Where is the contradiction? And yes we believe this. It is as easy to believe this as Adam made from soil and the virgin birth of Jesus. The bible is full of miracles, we believe or not, its up to all.

Rational? Evolution is not rational to me. Trillions of complicated things coming together at the right time and place? Statistically impossible.

I guess you will ascribe to the truth when it happens. It will happen and you will see it for yourself. Trouble is it will be to late then. Faith is believing what can not be seen. Its impossible to please God without faith. So, when it is seen it is no longer faith, its to late then.

This is a good quote, even if he meant to be funny.
It isn‘t the parts of the Bible I don’t understand that bother me, its the parts that I do understand.–Mark Twain

  • The simplest way and easiest is to just vote out the old timers and replace with conservatives. Our Constitution just needs to be followed, minus a few amendments, the 14th, 16th, & 17th.

Then add a term limit to the House. The senate will be fine if states can again appoint them.

Define a Natural Born Citizen as a child born anyplace, of a mom and dad that are both already US citizens that are living in or working for the US government, a Citizen is a Naturalized child or adult, further a child is a citizen of the parent(s) own nation(s).

Define marriage as only one man and one woman, until death or legal divorce, and adultery a felony, and cohabiting when minor children are involved, a felony.

Health, safety and responsibility of children (which is temporary) is legally required of the parents and enforceable by the laws of Congress.

  • That seems foolish to me. It is obvious that the founders were believers in Christ. To say otherwise is to dismiss on purpose the words contained the DoI and USC, speeches and fed papers.

The religion at the time was protestant individual responsibility to God and man. Jesus said, the commandments were fulfilled in this, to love God and neighbor.

  • Being anti God is anti American. Our founding fathers and framers were altogether in mind of God or providence as they toiled to put together a new nation. Just reading the Declaration of Independence is proof of their spiritual awareness.
