  • I am convinced that Gingrish that there can only be two reasons why Gingrich is staying in the race- 1) his ego 2) to help Romney. In either case, they make me less likely to turn back to him. His southern strategy is failing. Georgia has been the only state where he’s placed above third place since early February, but then he lost Tennessee at the same time. If he wins every delegate from every remaining southern state he still wouldn‘t catch up to what Romney’s will be by the end of today. But in the process he’s draining votes from Santorum while failing to meet the minimums to get any delegates of his, basically giving those votes to Romney.

  • Then they taught you wrong in little league. Tagging the plate without a force play does nothing.

  • Someone wanted to go home.

  • They should have just completed the demolition if the had that much time left over. They still have the other half of the bridge to take down next year. This one was such a non-event, people aren’t going to take the warnings seriously next time.

  • I’ve had a situation similar to this. I received a refund check for a student loan and was told that I had overpaid. I called them, told there that there was a mistake, but they told me that they were correct and that the money was mine. Eight months later they came after me.

So if it were up to me, this not only doesn’t go to jail…. He keeps the money.

  • TPM misquoted the reporter and that misquote has been repeated here. They’ve since edited their article.

That misquote changes context of the article. The first version (the misquote) has Cain trying to deflect an allegation by changing the question and responding to a question that was never asked. When what actually happened was the reporter changed what Cain had said and Cain rightly denied it. The difference in meaning between “extra” and “special” are not great, but the difference in their connotations are significant. Had Cain responded differently, it would have given the press free-reign to define what he meant…. AND WE ALL KNOW THAT THEY WOULD TOO.

As is, they have had to settle with him “screaming.”

  • The pictures are not the same location. Click on the highlighted word “reportedly” in this article and it’ll take you a site with the corrected street-view photo comparison. The difference isn’t quite as dramatic, but still intense.

  • The only reason anyone assumes that he passed him a paper comes from the Italian reporters suggestion that it was “piece of paper”. You can only tell that something was passed by their hand motions… the camera doesn’t catch the actual item. If it wasn‘t challenge coin and people aren’t just poking fun, then what possible reason would a President have to need to pass a secret note to one of his own generals?

I’m thinking Obama thought he was just tipping the chauffeur.

  • This is only relevant in light of the all this gloating/trophy BS coming out of the White House.

  • Osama is Obama‘s trophy and he won’t share it with any one.
