  The reason I went cold on Bachman several months ago was I noticed that she was a great criticizer but short on ideas. I also notice she has No bold tax proposal on her website. At the very least Newt has come out in favor of a flatter tax. In debates she just seems to always be on attack ,as if she just came forth with bold ideas she may have gotten traction, sadly she seems stuck in attack front runner mode. Time has run out for her.

  This is very sad. To strap on a political bomb on your young child is deplorable. This woman’s absolute blind scorn and contempt for Ms.Bachman supersedes her judgment as a parent.I feel very sorry for this woman and child. Bachman regardless will be just fine, as for this family I am not so sure.

  At this early juncture the tea party had its biggest impact regionally ,as the blue coasts are still resistant or suspicious to some degree. But I wonder if they made their biggest impact on local state governments and Governors,as that seems to be forgotten by Media, we may have turned Michigan back to a red state, and maybe also Missouri from Purple to Red.

  The fact is that the tea party movement made more of an impact of any movement this young ; more so then the anti war movement of the 60s and even more then the Bull Moose party made at turn of century.If it stays simple and on message and if future administrations and federal and local representatives don’t listen then then they will feel the heat.

  Alicia Menendez, I would say that it is your political logic that hurts not only the community you say you are so much for ,but the American People as a whole. Less government, lower taxes, and less government intrusion into our private lives , spurs entrepreneurs and takes out uncertainty in the private sector which spurs expansion and jobs. In her world if you are for Legal Immigration you are somehow hateful to minorities, she believes in the economic model of the government providing jobs ,while sucking the private sector dry like in many Latin American Countries, until the point there is no private sector left. Marco Rubio is for giving “The Individual” the best possible chance of succeeding in Menendez’s world that somehow equals you are against Immigrants.

  I see nothing wrong with Stewart Rally, I applaud them and as a conservative I like to poke fun at myself and other conservatives, however when you have an ideology ,and I’m speaking of Huffpost here, that is based on projection of oneself and lies, all to fit a narrow minded narrative that is steeped in IM RIGHT , therefore I must ignore reality almost like a drunk who wont see the reality of his actions.

  I think this is great, Satire is a great comedy tool ,and we as conservatives have to laugh a little at ourselves as well. I am one who laughs when SNL makes fun of us, as I don’t take it personally. People from both sides of aisle should laugh a little more. When we make stupid comments we give the appearance that we are threatened, that is not the case for most of us who really want the country to be great , as Reagan said “We can accomplish anything as long as we don’t care who gets the credit.”
