  • I am sick of this process of tearing down every person running! Their qualifications to be President is all that should matter.

All during the Clinton years we heard from the left “it’s just sex”. That was OK with the left that he cheated IN the White House. Then NO vetting of Obama at all. So they get a pass a Republicans have to be saints? Who will be left?

Newt and this woman are long divorced and NOW she decides to talk. Same with Herman Cain. Decades go by and only until there is something to gain do these women come forward.

As a woman I find this appalling. My father told me when I started dating “if you date a man who is married what makes you think he is not going to cheat on you?” She was a willing part of the adultery when they BOTH cheated on his first wife. She has no room to point fingers at him now.

When each one of us goes to a job interview it does not matter if we have had one spouse, two or ten. If it did half this country would be unemployed!

All that matters is can he NOW do the job of cleaning up this country? Will he be a champion of the Constitution and fight for our America?

Everything else is distraction to take the heat off Obama.

Until ABC and the rest of the alphabet news is willing to dig into President Obama’s past with the same fury that they are Newt, Herman Cain and the Republicans I don’t care what they or this bitter woman has to say.

Quit giving Obama more chances to win!

  • Just do a Google search on Ron Paul and racists remarks. Not saying if the stuff is true but it’s there.

The plan is already being laid out to label him racist. It’s already making the rounds on the internet.

Herman Cain had a chance to garner votes from Conservative minorities. He was accused with no proof. One down. Newt is now being attacked over remarks made years ago. Next…

Every candidate is being drugged through the mud until most people think they aren’t electable. Who will be left? Obama.

Why aren’t the Republican candidates vetting his past instead of going after each other? He is the one they have to beat. Make him unelectable by his own words, and any one of them can then be chosen by the voters.

Reagan had it right “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.”

If these candidates keep attacking each other how will they reconcile their accusations against the candidate when it is time to support that candidate that wins the nomination and goes up against Obama?

The left will use every sleazy tidbit they are uttering now against the other candidates and by those words hand votes to Obama. He won’t have to bad mouth them, the other candidates are doing it for him.

They need to attack Obama‘s record instead of each other because we can’t survive another 4 years of this President’s policies.

Everyone is looking for President Perfect. Vote for Mr. 75% and a Senate that can back him and we go from there to fight another

  • I believe God created us with a brain to think for ourselves and a conscience to make decisions about right and wrong on our own. Much like Glenn saying “do your own research.”

That said, I have only read one page of comments on this thread on this one particular story and I have to say I find a lot of it disgusting. The “my religion is better than yours” argument will never end, so why not believe what you will and allow others the same?

If you believe in God you will find your way to Him because of your faith whether it is Catholic, Jewish, Mormon, Lutheran or any other denomination. You do not need to tear apart each other over this story. Some will believe in what the Pope says some won’t, that is their choice. Isn’t there enough fighting in the world? Do you need to add to it?

Whether you believe in God or you are an atheist, the following lines of scripture can be followed by anyone because they are just words of how to treat each other as you wish to be treated.

    1 Corinthians 13;
Love is always patient and kind; love is never jealous; love is not boastful or conceited,

5 it is never rude and never seeks its own advantage, it does not take offense or store up grievances.

6 Love does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but finds its joy in the truth.

7 It is always ready to make allowances, to trust, to hope and to endure whatever comes.

Please do not let all that is evil divide you because you don’t agree. We need to find respect for each other

  • I respect and love the Constitution, but I am also a realist. Right now our biggest worry is the President destroying this country. If we don’t get him out illegals will be the least of our problems.

Yes, we need to close the borders, it is a huge security risk.

Remember though corrupt politicians and business people are citizens by birth right, but are they adding or taking away more than illegals? Look how much these crooks cost this country!

I think I would prefer hard working illegals being given a chance to become legal citizens with conditions like learning English, paying taxes, and paying their own way. Give them a year to get a job if they don’t have one, learn English and no welfare or they get deported. Also send back criminals in jail here so we are not supporting them either. Then they are not draining the states where they are living.

They would also probably value their citizenship more than the cry babies that are running amok in the streets whining for free everything because they are “entitled” to it. Then destroying cities and breaking laws because they have never been told no.

Newt’s stand on immigration is not a deal breaker to me. He could pull a lot of votes away from Obama on the immigration issue and that is the main focus right now. Either way the immigration issue won’t be decided in a year, or two, even with a Conservative President.

So, we need to get Obama out and live to fight another day on other issues or we are lost

  • Rest of my post that got cut.

I for one find it refreshing in the debates that Newt refuses to allow the moderators to take him into the gutter and slam the other candidates. He is disciplined, staying on task and that task is to beat Obama next year.

You do not have to agree with all of Newts policies but it may come down to him or Obama. Personally I’d rather have a man like Reagan while not perfect, learned from his decisions and grew from them to become a better leader instead of an arrogant president who can’t accept blame for anything he does.

Give me Newt with a Conservative Congress and Senate and we’ll get rid of this Progressive cancer before it kills us. Throw in Marco Rubio as VP and we have a winning ticket despite what all the fear mongers want us to believe about no chance of winning against Obama.

We have to get united behind our candidate or we all lose!

  • Would any of you vote for a candidate who supported FDR, the New Deal policies, was a liberal democrat who worked for GE, was divorced, changed his religious beliefs, had ties to Hollywood, signed “The Therapeutic Abortion Act”, and had little chance of getting the minority vote especially the African American vote?

Would you consider this man a Conservative Republican candidate worthy to be your next President?

If you would not vote for this person who was once a candidate for president you would have let go of one of our best Presidents, Ronald Reagan.

People change, people make decisions as they age and as they get experience, even President Reagan stated he would not have signed the Therapeutic Abortion Act if he would have had more experience as Governor of California. He later became a staunch ProLife advocate.

There is no perfect candidate so we need to find the one who can go head to toe with Obama. I think Newt has the experience to take him on in debates and can win the election.

Why do you think the democrats and the media keep pushing Romney on us? Why are they not attacking Romney like they have the others? They think Obama can beat Romney, that’s why. They want us to be afraid that Newt can’t get the minority vote.

Well, Reagan won the election in 1980 carrying 44 states with 489 electoral votes to 49 electoral votes for Carter and they didn’t think he could win the minority vote either.

I for one find it refreshing in the debates tha

  • I hear people complain a lot about the Duggars too, and most of these people I hear this from claim to be “Pro Choice”, but I guess it’s only a choice for the woman if the choice is abortion.

This family takes care of their children, they are teaching them about helping others and not putting themselves first. That the world does not revolve around them. Unlike so many from the “entitlement generation” that complain non stop that the world isn’t giving them enough.

They buy used and save the difference. They live debt free. How many today would be better off if they lived that way? Their children are their treasures instead of expensive toys.

This country would be a nicer place if we had more children who were raised to respect themselves and others like these children.

As for the older children helping the younger ones I find it refreshing. Unlike so many adult children today who can’t help themselves let alone someone else, these children are self reliant and actually go to many places helping others such as natural disasters and in other countries to help those less fortunate.

They are lifting others up not bringing the world down.

I wish people would at least do some research first on this family before they criticize them, give credit for the good they do rather than putting them down because they don’t agree with their choice of how large a family they choose to have. Or is that freedom in America gone now too?

  • Please look at what is happening. Divide and conquer by Obama’s campaign.

Sexual harassment today is anything “perceived” by the person doing the accusing. It can be anything that the person feels makes them uncomfortable.

So if a man or woman tells someone that they look nice today and it makes that person “uncomfortable” then they can be accused. How do you proved you did nothing to what someone may perceive in their mind?

Settlements do not always equal guilt.

I am against real sexual harassment but it has gotten to the point that people can’t even say something nice to a coworker these days.

Strange that he has been running for President for months yet this doesn’t come up until the usual Friday dump of another solar company going bankrupt.

As all of you complain here about the other conservative or republican presidential candidates that you don’t support, or provide links to other stories against the candidate you don’t like, and in doing so you are just playing into Obama’s hands and handing him the 2012 on a silver platter.

Obama‘s campaign doesn’t even have to defend his bad policies you are so busy fighting each other that you aren’t fighting him. All of this is giving him control of the conversation.

If you like one republican candidate over the other fine but quit smearing the others please! There are enough Obama supports doing that already.

    In reply to Hickory.

Exactly. They don’t have to prove anything, just put it out there.
