  Obama is no Christian. He is a follower of Liberation Theology, taught in Jeremiah Wrights’ church and he now follows Jim Wallis, whose church is about Liberation Theology. Liberation Theology started in South America by Jesuit priest in the late 1970′s. It was condemned by John Paul II in 1990 and later by Benedict as not Christian on any level and communism in disguise. You cannot be a follower of Marx and a follower of Christ. They are opposites. Marx and his philosophy is based on atheism and envy. Christ is based on God the Father and the commandments. Obama in his book Dreams of my Father says that he sought out his Marxist professors in university, he was mentored by Frank Marshall Davis an avowed communist as a teen. Mr. Osteen is completely wrong about Obama being a Christian. Obama is an atheist. And quite frankly I have never heard Osteen mention Christ in any of his speeches. Many in Houston consider him nothing more than a charlatan.

  Knowing the Catholic Conference of Bishops, I doubt that they even read the Ryan budget. Could it be that they are still trying to suck up to Obama and say look we are still on your side so please, please, give us back our Freedom of Religion/conscience that you so betrayed us on. Guess what, the true Catholic Church will soon go underground. There are many priests among us that are teaching far from Christ and are in opposition to the truth. Real Catholics beware.

  You can’t spell. Does this mean that you haven’t even graduated from grade school? In any case, the Catholic Church did not condone those priests. Many were sent for rehabilitation. Who knew the syndrome is not curable. And, yes, the church was more concerned for the priests‘ emotional health than the child’s emotional health. That was entirely wrong and they have paid for it. However, the priests who did this were in the vast minority – 1% of its population. Most went after teenage boys. Most of these priests were homosexual. They should never have been allowed to be priests in the first place. Catholic Church is a wonderful place and this is nothing less than the left trying to dictate church/Rome policy. The Church will be here long after the Communist Obama administration and its minions are long gone. Note: see USSR

  Some of the comments here are intelligent and reasoned. I wish those persons would take half a minute and write them to your congressperson and senators AND JOHN MCCAIN. THE COMMENTS ABOUT THE ACTUAL CONTENT AND MEANING of Tolkien and the bravery and courage of the Hobbits are the best. Go to http://www.senate.gov and http://www.house.gov to make your thoughts known. Keep it clean and honorable. Proof read at least once for content and spelling. On my way there now!
