Because no matter how you slice it, any religion that states you’re flawed at birth and will go to hell simply because of whom you are sexually attracted to, which is not a choice, is inherently evil and hate-filled. You can try to hide it behind some smoke-screen of love but when you lie to homosexuals that they can “pray the gay away” that is evil at its very core and pure hatred.
Sorry, but you can’t have it both ways.
