  Have fun with halloween. It’s all make-believe.
  It works like this: There are no deities so there are no hordes of underlings and various classes of demons. No matter how hard you try you can‘t summon up something that doesn’t exist, like satan. Or god or allah or thor or apollo or zenu. Outside the quantum world there is no spooky action at a distance– ya know, “witchcraft”. Go ahead and try to put a spell on someone. Can’t be done. Sorry to break the news to you rubes but to the extent there is an afterworld it is not knowable. Maybe yes. Maybe no. But it’s nature is not avaialble to us.

  Marxism is centralized economic planning. It does not work. IME I’ve run across loads of academics who see it as a useful and practical method of reducing perceived social ills. I can speak about the english dept @ University of Delaware and most of the instructors at (redacted) law school and some of my instructors at (again, redacted) nursing school. Career change. Healthier. For me.
