  @Packeryman – You “independents” need to make up your mind and stop checking to see which way the wind blows. Christie has some very tough, legitimate views that are going to be difficult for MANY republicans to swallow.
  On a side note, all this talk about the “far right” and “religious nuts” drives me crazy. It‘s nothing more than media hype and you’re buying into it.

  Unbelievable. Chris Lee resigns immediately because his name is followed with an “R”, and Weiner gets the Charlie Rangel treatment with an ethics investigation. Actually, it’s totally believable. The double standard is frustrating to no end.

  Focus on fiscal conservatism if you want to attract independents, sure. But he’s not the kind of social conservative who will try to “legislate morality”. He strongly supports it, and believes it, but he won’t make porn illegal. Don’t NOT vote for him because of his social conservatism.

  Santorum is not a RINO. Do some research. The reason he lost in ‘08 is because he stood for conservative values.
