  • Innocent until proven guilty, but if they did try to make themselves out as victims, all they have done is hurt the respect of those who are truly dealing with hate crimes. Sometimes there are the questionable “hate crime” designations, but there are definitely times when it is warranted.

  • Probably want to fix that spelling error in the first sentence. It’s disdain, not distain.

  • Not hard to look good when the previous Governor and legislators acted like beggars to the federal government most of the time. But yes, the real lefties hate that they voted for the Democrat who had no shot and as a result their second choice lost to LePage. More amusing is that if you use that same 61% logic, then the last governor would have had bumper stickers saying 62% all over the cars of Republicans.

  • Funny, because I remember hearing a Beck “phone call” which sounded an awful lot like Pat rambling leftist garbage without any sort of acknowledgement that the supposed crazy leftist was actually an impression by Pat. Add on that it was slightly altered from his normal fake voice sound and one might actually have believed it was a real crazy caller. The only hints of it being fake came toward the end as the script ended and more effort was needed to think of what to say.

I’m not a fan of Huckabee, but all of these guys have some sort of motivation to try to reinforce their stances and convince listeners to keep listening.

  • You choose the moderate president and pick your conservative senators and representatives. The moderate president can then promote an agenda slightly to the right without significant backlash. Of course you can try to hope a real radical gets in there and acts like Obama and completely changes things, but then you get the same backlash Obama is facing. Romney is not the perfect candidate, but he’s more likely to be able to get some decent things done without posing long term threats to the party. He won’t be able to fix all the issues, but if he actually leads the country rather than polarize it, Republicans will become the party that people have more trust in and someone like Obama won’t be elected in the next few cycles.

  • Hate hockey fights all you want, but at least they deal with fights in a proper way, no blatant cheap shots like the one in this video or the high school one. Instead we wait to see who is going to pull out the metal chair like a WWE match and bash someone who isn’t expecting it.

  • Roughly the same percentage as in 2008 when he eventually got 78% of their vote. Now, that’s going from 62% to 78%, a 16% jump. It’s possible that the opposite can happen this election, especially if the Republican ticket is not as weak as it was in 2008.

There’s also a difference between being a Jew and being a Jew that supports Israel blindly. If Americans went back to Britain and declared they wanted to reestablish a country that is based upon that specific group and managed to get the ok from an international group of countries but bring a lot of dislike for Americans, how would those Americans living in North America feel about a policy of 100% for that group that attracts so much negative attention for the Americans.

  • Science just needs people who are willing to point out the flaws in other scientists works. Instead, they are being taught that it’s better for funding to just go along with the assumption that the other scientists are right.

And I really don’t care about global warming. I care about air pollution and other waste that hurts humans as it likely affects all other forms of life, but I’m not going to live my life starving myself because my living can be seen as bad for other animals. That’s the world we live in, a competitive world where all animals fight for survival.

As far as creationism versus evolution goes, creationism has to take a long step back now and can only get into what created the universe in the first place. Much different than God creating the Earth and then creating man all in the same week. Religion has always tried to explain the unexplained and when the unexplained becomes explainable, religion has to adapt to such a change.

  • Marco Rubio Endorses Mitt Romney

Romney is really the only choice at this point.
Santorum is a whining pretend fiscal conservative whose only big selling point is that he is the most socially conservative in an election when fiscal conservatism is more important.
    Gingrich is a giant progressive.
Paul is a great candidate, except for the nutty supporters who bring along their conspiracy theories for everything. He’d do well in a general election, but he can’t get the Republican nomination.

And no, the Republicans will not have any big surprise candidate that is somehow better than all the current options. Demint isn’t likely to run, nor is someone like Ryan or Rand Paul.

You may not like Rommey, but just elect the conservative candidates for the house and Senate. The Supreme Court is at least a majority conservative (thank God for that) and you get both the House and Senate you control a lot more than the Presidency. If you hold both, it doesn’t matter if Obama is re-elected, he’ll have a giant blockade from trying anything crazy, remember, his big plans stopped when the Democrats suffered their bloodbath in 2010. Since then it’s just little things here and there.

  • Santorum is acting like he always has. Sure, give him a little attention and he’s your best friend, but when things get tough and don’t look so good for him, he’s out there whining and making outrageous statements. The next George Washington my a**. Glenn screwed up big time in this primary season and fell for the politician who would say what he wanted to hear. Just listen to Beck for the past year and you could summarize it and make him think you are the most amazing candidate and so like-minded.
