  I believe the gospels and scripture are true, for the same reason as St. Augustine : the Catholic Church has said so. That trumps any argument any of you can make, including Encinom. You cannot hold your own with the Bishop of Carthage.

  This site is filled with amateur theologians, the result of protestantism’s belief of individual interpretation of scripure. I’ve never read such tripe in my life. The new testament can only quote the old because the new was not defined as canon until 401 a.d. Should the Gospel of Thomas be included? What about the Sheperd of Hermas? There are hundreds of books thst claim to be inspired, but were rejected, even though what they say may be true. This clown (Osteen)is a total fraud and anybody who watches or listen’s to what he says has been duped into believing a false Christianity. That sow Oprah is just as bad with her new age trash. No, I refuse to be compassionate because people are being fed trash. Stay as far away from this garbage as possible, at the peril of your own souls.

  if by pagan emperor, you mean Constantine, you need to study TRUE history and not Mormon fairy tales. He bacame christian, but allowed all religions to practice. BTW, deathbed baptizims were very common at that point in history, unlike your baptizing the dead, which has been around only since the 19th century, the same as your “church”.

  Thank God, that Graham say’s I can vote for a Mormon. I was sitting on pins and needles to await for an answer from on high. Most of the posts for this article are contending for who has the truth, yet most of you disagree with each other. One says that you have to ask Christ into your life. Where is that in the bible? Another says he has a pastor who can answer his questions. It seems to me that most if not all of you are evangelical protestants, who believe in individual interpetation of scripture, so why would you need a pastor at all? Can’t you interpret for yourselves? You can’t all be right, because you disagree with one another. BTW, the Orthodox church began a thousand years after Christianity began, so you are not the true church,even though you posess more truth than the 33000 protestant denominations that are represented here. The questions is: Is Mormonism Christian? No. You can’t become a god, you can’t rule your own planet after you die, and your baptizing the dead has no effect. (This is why they have such detailed geneology records). I myself have happily retured to the TRUE CHURCH, The Roman Catholic, warts and all. For those of you who are now frothing at the mouth and can’t wait to bring up the priest sex abuse scandal, I invite you to go to Stopbaptistpredators.net and reformation.com. Maybe you will put those rocks down before you damage your own glass houses.
