  • I live close to PDX, and there is no where on site that you cant get to a restroom within 5-10 minutes. If these guys can’t be big boys and hold it for a few minutes, or go before work and during lunch, they are just like the rest of the whining masses who continually demand their ‘rights’ for things that are not truly ‘rights’. Of course the ultra-left here in Multnomah County would vote in favor of the plaintiffs…ya gotta live here to understand.

  • @Stayathome…“lets not even mention the mormon thing” ??? Really? You had to go there? Of course you did clarify things when you said you were raised Catholic but are now Baptist because Catholicism is a cult. What in the world does that have to with flesh eating bacteria? You Sir, just have an axe to grind and frankly, look more like a fool than anything with that post. With the rigid dogma and hate filled rhetoric you spew, you look more like a cult member than anyone else. If you don’t like the Blaze, go find somewhere else to read your news.

  • @Lameliberal..time to fact check your comments. 1. false…neither his father or grandfather were polygamists. Just read the article. 2. Misdirection – No particular religion had anything to do with the founding of this country or the Constitution. Yes most involved were adherents to Judeo-Christian theology, but you cannot attribute any specific church or religion to the founding. Why do you think the Constitution has an amendment preventing Congress from establishing a state religion? 3. False (depending on how you look at it) as Mormons believe their religion is a restoration of the original Church of Jesus Christ. 4. Your own personal biased opinion.

@Mutiny..do we really have to go there? You really are going to play the “You don‘t interpret the Bible like I do so you can’t play in my sandbox of Christianity?” Who made you or your pastor/church the ultimate authority on Biblical understanding? Methinks there is a bit of hubris if you hold to the belief that you have a lock on defining truth.

  • A good portion of the country still harbored racist tendencies 20 years ago. So to apply that to a particular religion is disingenuous.

  • Yes….lets get all worked up over a schoolyard prank, and forget all about the president’s self reported drug abuse during his school years…..somehow the two just dont seem to be comparable.

  • The problem is that service deemed acceptable for a tip is subjective. You could work your tail off and do your darndest to take care of a group, but THEY are the ones who ultimately decide that the service was tip-worthy. Some pay 10%, others more. However, anyone could ‘decide’ that their service was not up to THEIR standards, and either leave a low tip, or not tip altogether. So if tipping is so subjective, don’t take it out on the servers . Rather, look at the tons of intellectually dishonest folks who demand far more than any sensible person would and are cheap tippers, or at the industry as a whole who pay low wages, and dip their fingers into the tips earned by hard working servers who are being rewarded for their personal effort.

  • Right on Snoop…and those who actually come up with the solutions and solve problems are the last ones who want the attention. They usually downplay their involvement and attribute the success to the greater whole. From one soldier to another – thank you for your service brother!

  • Ahhh…this is why Unions are still needed in today’s economy! To protect the poor and downtrodden…../sarcasm off

  • You are right on Spanks ! Inventing an entire system of pseudofinancial equalization of the ‘damage’ done by carbon emitters allows governments to exert a type of shadow control over vast portions of the economy. They don‘t really care about the ’weather’ or they would put more effort into being able to effectively predict what it would do. Many refuse to admit they just CANT PREDICT IT! As it stands, all of the complex variables inherent in meteorology only give us a rough picture of what the weather is doing. Multiply weather on a grand scale and you get ‘climate’. So until people can predict weather accurately, I surely remain a skeptic in terms of the overall climate.

  • It seems to me that no one should set out to ‘make history’, especially as the leader of our country. Does that not make it look more like the ‘history making’ was done intentionally in an attempt to raise the image and notoriety of oneself? Is that the kind of person we want representing our country to the world? Someone who is all about himself and his legacy than anything else?
