  • All Pelosi might know is of the charges that were laid by the Democrats against Gingrich (almost all of which were discredited and dismissed). But if she really did have something on Gingrich that would kill his chances for the presidency she would not be saying anything about it now. She’d simply sit back and say nothing until after he was nominated and then just before the election she would spill it thus ensuring the re-election of her fuhrer. I mean she would have to be an absolute moron to say anything about it now. Whoops – never mind.

  • Problem with McCain was twofold. He was afraid to take his gloves off when debating a black guy and he failed to recognize he was up against two enemies – Obama and the media. Gingrich not only knows who his fight is with, he is fearless in attacking them. This to me makes him more electable than any of them, since neither Romney or Santorum seem to have much of a belly for conflict. And Romney is especially ugly when trying to express anger (much like McCain). So if Gingrich does lose in November at least he will have gone down fighting and we can say we’ve given it our best. (Not so in 2008).

As for Gingrich‘s conservativism he seems to recognize the main problem with our country is that it’s been shanghaied by atheists and atheist based programs. He’s also pro-life. And he has been endorsed by Rick Perry and the Palins while Romney has the endorsement of Huntsman and McCain. What more needs to be said. Gingrich though maybe not the perfect candidate is conservative enough for me and I would sorely like to see Barry finally debate someone who isn’t afraid of him or his false prophet media lackeys.

  • And that’s why religion and Jesus are two different clans. Then how do you explain Jesus establishing his own new religion in Matthew 16?

Religion is man searching for God; Christianity is God searching for man. true enough. but should man not search for God?

Which is why salvation is freely mine, and forgiveness is my own. And religion accentutes this point all the time Nothing at odds with religion here.

Not based on my merits but Jesus’ obedience alone. Nor here

Because he took the crown of thorns, and the blood dripped down his face. nor here.

He took what we all deserved; I guess that’s why you call it “grace” nor here.

And while being murdered he yelled, “Father forgive them; they know not what they do” nor here.

Because when he was dangling on that cross, he was thinking of you. nor here.

And he absorbed all your sin, and he buried it in the tomb. nor here.

Which is why I’m kneeling at the cross, saying, “Come on! There’s room!” nor here.

So for religion, no, I hate it; in fact, I literally resent it. Resent is worse that hate?

Because when Jesus said, “It is finished,” I believe he meant it. He didn’t mean religion was finished. In fact Church history and the religion he’d initiated, began at the Cross. He meant His work was finished. And only a moron and a heretic would try to read more into that than is implied by the Bible. My guess is this is just another attempt by the apostate Obama administ

  • But if Jesus came to your church, would they actually let him in? Anyone can walk into a Church. they don’t have guards

See, remember he was called a “glutton” and a “drunkard” by “religious men” And if they’d been members of the masonic temple should we therefore condemn all shriners

But the Son of God never supports self-righteousness; not now, not then. but that hs nothing to do with religion. and the vast majoirty of church goers I know are very humble.

Now back to the point: One thing is vital to mention

How Jesus and religion are on opposite spectrums. Nothing could be further from the truth.

See, one’s the work of God, but one’s a man-made invention. Both are from God. He gave us the Sabbath and religious holidays as days to congregate and worship. He gave us religious authority – the seats of Moses and Peter, he set up a hierarchy, bishops, deacons and presbyters and He gave us the Sacraments to be given us through the Church. And all can be found in the Bible.

See, one is the cure, but the other’s the infection. No, you sir are the infection.

See, because religion says “do,” Jesus says “done” His work was done oin the Cross – not ours.

Religion says “slave,” Jesus says “son” Religion says both.

Religion puts you in bondage while Jesus sets you free. Both set you free. Rejecting reliigon puts you in bondage

Religion makes you blind, but Jesus makes you see. Only the blind (those who reject the

  • See this was me, too, but no one seemed to be on to me

Actin’ like church kid while addicted to pornography

See, on Sunday I’d go to church, but Saturday gettin’ faded

Actin’ as if I was simply created to just have sex and get wasted. And this is why you need to belong to a religion where there is preaching and sacrament, where there is instruction and the means of continual replenishment.

See, I spent my whole life buildin’ this façade of neatness

But now that I know Jesus, I boast in my weakness. As you would in any good Church

Because if grace is water, then the church should be an ocean. My church is.

It’s not a museum for good people; it’s a hospital for the broken. Correct again.

Which means I don’t have to hide my failure, I don’t have to hide my sin. That is right, in a sacramental Church you can make use of the Sacraments to eliminate that sin from your life. How exactly do you do that outside of religion?

’Cause it doesn’t depend on me; it depends on him. and He uses religion to help us.

See, because when I was God’s enemy and certainly not a fan

He looked down and said, “I want that man!” Great story.

Which is why Jesus hated religion, and for it he called them fools. He did no such thing.

Don’t you see it’s so much better than just following some rules? you mean like the 10 Commandments?

Now lemme clarify: I love the church, I love the Bible, and yes, I believe in sin. You m

  • Tend to ridicule God’s people, they did it to John the Baptist. And Jesus explicitly said of the religious authorities of His time that they have the God given authority so we should do whatever they say. Just don’t (necessarily) follow their example.

They can’t fix their problems, and so they just mask it. They created free countries (Like the US of A) and they abolished slavery. They porovide hospitals and soup kitchens and all manner of missions to the poor and needy. That’s a pretty good track record, I think. and hardly what I’d consider masking.

Not realizing religion’s like spraying perfume on a casket. Once again the opinion of someone who’s not read his Bible.

See, the problem with religion is it never gets to the core. It doesn’t?

It’s just behavior modification, like a long list of chores. Yes behavior modification is a part of it. And this is a bad thing?

Like, “Let’s dress up the outside, make it look nice and neat”

But it’s funny, that’s what they used to do to mummies while the corpse rots underneath. I can‘t speak for all Churches here but it isn’t true of mine.

Now I ain’t judging, I’m just sayin’, “Quit puttin’ on a fake look”

’Cause there’s a problem if people only know that you’re a Christian by your Facebook. That is true but religion is not the cause. Bad religion is the cause.

I mean, in every other aspect of life, you know that logic’s unworthy

    It’s like saying you

  • What if I told you Jesus came to abolish religion? I‘d say you are an idiot who doesn’t know his Bible.

What if I told you voting Republican really wasn’t his mission? Normally I’d agree, but not this year.

What if I told you “Republican” doesn’t automatically mean “Christian”? True, but Democrat automatically does mean atheist or statist (same difference).

And just because you call some people “blind” doesn’t automatically give you vision? When you can recognize the blindness of the left there is a certain amount of vision required.

I mean, if religion is so great, why has it started so many wars? Name one since the middle ages started by Christians. Economics starts most modern wars (followed by atheist dictators and Islamic radicals).

Why does it build huge churches but fails to feed the poor? The Church feeds more poor people than any other institution.

Tells single moms God doesn’t love them if they’ve ever had a divorce? I do not not know of any church that does this.

But in the Old Testament God actually calls religious people “whores”. Only those who don‘t keep God’s religion pure by trying to incorporate the beliefs of other religions into it.

Religion might preach grace, but another thing they practice. Some people may not practice it. That doesn’t condemn religion

  • I’m afraid I am not as trusting as most. The consequences are too important and we do not need another Souter in the Supreme Court. The problem is Cain’s language is confusing and Rick Santorum is right in pointing it out. And it is hard for me to accept that anyone who truly is pro-life would say the things he did in the Morgan interview. Cain now says he is 100% Pro-life. End of story. But I’ve heard this statement before by others who were anything but. McCain for one comes to mind.

Don’t get me wrong. I liked Cain and was willing to overlook a lot of previous confusing statements, But this issue is very important than all the others. Its a litmus test to me for any candidate because if they can’t get this one right how can they be expected to get anything right. (Obama is a prime example).

So I am now stuck wondering from his statements if Cain even knows what being 100% Pro-life is. And until I hear him say unequivacally that government DOES have the right to step in to prevent the taking of an innocent life (and continue to hear him say it) I’m afraid I am going to have to step away and opt for a viable candidate whose pro-life stance is not so nebulous. Sorry mister Cain. I had high hopes for you but Santorum has just won my support.

  • He has no chance of getting the Republican nomination. After 4 years of watching the vcountry go to the dogs because McCain refused to take the gloves off, conservatives are rabid to to see their next candidate tear Obama apart in the 2012 presidential debates. And this guy (this McCain wannabe)thinks he can get conservative support by playing nice?! What an idiot. How can anybody be so out of touch? Who are his advisors?

The scary part though is what he might do once he realizes he’s not going anywhere with the Republicans. I mean he has been over there in China for a couple years now, sleeping with the enemy. Is it possible he’s been brainwashed, that he’s a sleeper cell, a Manchurian Candidate of sorts, so deluded with himself that he’s all set to run as an independent (if need be) and sift away just enough RINO votes to ensure Obama another term? I surely hope not.
