‘Not Very Christian’: MSNBC’s Bashir & His Panel Slam the Catholic Church’s Response to the Contraceptive Mandate

The solution is actually pretty simple for the church. Just stop taking government money. This whole fight is pointless.

My only comment about it’s authenticity, is that if it is indeed from NASA, I kinda am forced to believe that they’re telling the truth about what it is. And about things not being stationary on the sun, the sun is fricken huge. You’re right, the suns corona and surface are always moving around, but it takes a very long time for that movement to be apparent. If you’re taking a picture over a few minutes, the suns surface might as well be stationary.
Beck Offers $150K for Wright’s Secret Box on Obama

Beck Offers $150K for Wright’s Secret Box on Obama
May 17, 2012 at 5:03pm
“So how is GB any different now than the website that offered money to anyone who comes forward to say the had premarital sex with Tebow. As my father would have said. You steal $1 or $1 million you are still a thief.”
The difference? Wright came out and said he had information, and Beck is offering to buy it. In the case of Tebow, money was offered to anyone before any proof of such information’s existence was evident. One is reactive to claimed information, the other is proactive in generating information (regardless of grounds).
I like your father’s words, and I follow that wisdom to a T. But in either case for your post, it holds little relevance… I don’t know why you quoted that…
Does This Archeological Discovery Prove That the Bible Is True?

Jon,
I think you’re referring to Epistemology… which is a common root to a lot of things, science, faith, art…
Reporter Fired for Stripping Files Gender Discrimination Complaint
May 14, 2012 at 4:25pm
When you enter a job, you’re contracting your services. Many businesses require you to notify them of any outside work that may conflict with their business. Is it really so confusing why being a stripper may be a conflicting outside work activity?
Atheists vs. Theists: Are Non-Believers Really More Compassionate?
May 10, 2012 at 3:34pm
I am an atheist, and I most certainly do speak out against the people who supposedly represent atheists. Atheism isn’t an organization, it doesn’t have the checks that organized religion does. It’s only natural that the face atheism gets is one of extreme ideas from bigoted individuals. Don’t fall for the trap. I may reject the idea of God, but I am a better ally for social and fiscal conservatism than most Christians are. There’s no reason to single out atheists as an immoral group, when many of us argue most of the points you do.
Does This Archeological Discovery Prove That the Bible Is True?
May 10, 2012 at 12:39pm
As a scientist, and an atheist, it frustrates me when science is intermingled with religion,
BUT
In this case, God gave you the ability to observe the world around you. It is completely acceptable for you to search for and find proof of ones religious events and text. I welcome it, as I truly believe there his historical validity behind much of the religious text of this world. While I do not believe in a divine being, that belief doesn’t matter in this case. These are important discoveries for the Jewish and Christian religions, and I’m glad to see some more evidence finally come to light. The truth has no agenda people. If these archaeological finds are indeed from King David’s time, and they have a direct correlation to religious records, take it at face value. It’s incredible, and important; and the religious implications are not to be ignored.
New Poll Claims Belief in Global Warming Is Rising… But That’s Not the Whole Story
March 6, 2012 at 11:31am
Bosbes,
While I agree with the sentiment of your post, I must point out something that you, and quite honestly most of Rush’s audience (particularly) fails to understand. Mankind CAN change the climate if mankind were to try. Ever heard of a Nuclear Winter?
But again, I do not take issue with most of what you said, and in fact, the reciprocal argument only helps us. If we COULD change the climate to warmer patterns as the warmers suggest, then in 50 years when our technology is so much more advanced, we could change it back right?
Teen Atheist Wins Big: School District Won’t Appeal Ruling to Take Down Prayer Banner
February 17, 2012 at 1:28pm
Freedom of religion has never really existed here in America. If it did, then we would see polygamy (quakers, mormons, muslems). I, personally, wish to see TRUE freedom come. One of the best ways to do this, is to take “Marriage” out of the tax code, and out of the law books. Next, we need to send school funding back to the localities. While I personally insist that the Federal government DOES have a role in education… the way it functions now simply impinges on freedom and progress in the educational field.
