  • I agree with a comment I saw – Fox News has become moderate. And, considering President Kennedy, a Democrat, would be considered on the right today – a moderate today must be considered pretty far left in comparison with our forefathers???
I still love Rush, and Hannity (not as much) and definitely Glenn Beck and his crew. I pray all the time for these guys – they are so out in front – and they are so in danger. The only reason they may stay safe is because of us listeners.
The entire world is upside down. The left groups will call honest conservative people radicals – and now include really left radicals in the same grouping; the packistanis will execute a man who allegedly gave us info to kill bin laden; we refuse to take in a Chinese refigee who spoke out against infanticide; and the list goes on.
I believe the left will try to include a left radical into the grouping of conservatives – so when this left radical commits his nasty ol’ racists and classist crimes – they can say “look what the right-wing radicals have done”
And damn, if I had a son, he’d look just like that dead innocent man . . .

  • That was so funny – but gave me a good excuse the next time the doctor wants to put me on a treadmill . . . No way!!!

  • So, refresh my memory . . . wasn’t it around the time of the oil spill that barack was making a deal with Brazil – $2 billion or something like that – to help them do deep water oil recovery??? and telling them we want to be their first and best customer?
Why would van jones come out against obama? Maybe because too much criticism and Americans might have actually tried to stop that transaction.
No, there is more here than just an overrought van jones coming to terms with his indiscretions – he’s just as big a part of it now as he was then. Maybe the next thing we hear is that van jones got a kick back from that deal – or that obama gave him $150,000 to keep his mouth shut – like he allegedly proposed to rev wright.
What is true here – none of them can be trusted to keep the American interests first.

  • I can only hope that when the left sees “one of their own” agreeing with someone on the right – they just might start to think, for a change.
I work with a woman who I believe has the views of a conservative – but someone told her she had to be a democrat for whatever reason (be it parent or ex-husband, who cares?) and now she thinks she is. In the course of a friendly conversation she’ll say things that are conservative, ie, morals, personal responsibility, etc. But the minute I bring up something political (because she knows I am staunch conservative) she’ll become combative and you can just see the ears close and the door shut on her brain. It’s almost funny.
So, I hope she’s listening to this guy – at least that one time.

  • Thank you Zorro for your comment.
I married into a Mexican family – actually they were Mexican, Spanish, and Mongolian Chinese – oh, the most beautiful three kids in the world came from that combination (two sisters and the man I married).
My in-laws had come over legally. He worked his butt off all the while studying the Constitution in order to pass his tests to become a US citizen. (And I remember how excited and proud he was to get a college degree in his later years – “only in America”, he said) She kept her Mexican citizenship in case they ever wanted to or had to move back to Mexico – they’d be able to buy property.
They had their three children here in America. They loved America. And little by little many of their family came over (mostly legal I believe) and they all loved American.
That was back in the 50‘s and 60’s. I can’t understand the illegals of today. I’ve seen them become more and more hateful towards America as the years have gone by.
Because I believe in the basic goodness and morality of mankind, perhaps it’s just because the hateful vengeful Mexicans are just more vocal?
But the truth is, no matter what happened 100 and 200 years ago – we have an illegal immigration problem and we’ve got to take care of it. As you can infer in my past, I am not racist, period. But I am concerned that my country will fail because of being burdened with another country’s throw-aways.

  • COMMENT TO BARTLEBEE06:
Thank you. I was wondering if I weren’t being sensitive enough to “our cause”
I just saw this commercial as an advertisement to how our country is so free and we love all peoples. That vacationers can have a wonderful time here in our freedom.
I didn’t see a promotion for gay liberation or a promotion for muslim women – except that they could be free and happy here.
OMG – next thing you know we’re going to see armegeddon in the rising of the sun?

  • I have my reservations about the Mormon church – but those come from 1969. My girlfriend married a Mormon man and they could not get married in the inter sanctions of the church because she was not a mormon. And I remember her telling me that black members of the church had to sit in the back pews.
And then in 1974, I married, but we could not be married in the Catholic church because I was a white Protestant.
And, of course now, there are the radical muslims that will kill anyone not muslim.
So, tell me – who do you want in the White House – a man who is affiliated with a God-loving religion, or a man affiliated with a “kill-all” religion.
Take your pick – our time is running out.

  • Well, yeah – and why did we only see pictures of Martin as he was when he was 12? Media manipulation – and they’ve done a damn good job of it too.
The left wants it to be a racial war. We all have to come together and demand a fair investigation and fair reporting/.

  • thank you for that link – eye-opening

  • Comment to SWEETLADY’s comment to CENTURIAN:
One thing you said is not true – that everyone is so racist that they‘re jumping to conclusions and won’t listen to reason.
I’ve been reading blogs everywhere about this case and what I see is that the Black communities are being incited by their wonderful leaders (and I say that facetiously because wonderful is not how I’d consider Jesse Jackson and Rev Wright, as well as the main stream media and our very own POTUS)
I truly believe that most people are holding both parties guilty to a more or lesser degree and I believe most of us are waiting (as hard as this is) for all the truth to come out and for an honest jury to sort out the facts and make a decision. Hopefully that will happen. And hopefully when that happens we won’t have a riot on our hands if the verdict happens to be not guilty for Zimmerman.
That incidence could have very easily happened if OJ had been pronounced guilty – which I sincerely believe he was. I worked with a gentleman, a black man, graduate of USC who had played on their football team (years after OJ) – who felt a kinship to OJ.
This man, a manager in a fortune 500 company, hooted and hollered when OJ was pronounced not guilty. I asked him “don‘t you think he’s really guilty?” He answered – “hell yes, I’m just so glad to see a black man get away with murder”
What kind of bulls**t is that? But my point is, he told me there would have been riots big time if OJ had been found guilty.
