As an Engineering/Physics major in school, I respected, revered and trusted Steve’s insight and theory. However, after reading this article, I had a major epiphany………

After thinking about it for a bit, I realized all of his accomplishments were of theory, ‘what if’s‘ and ’this could happen’…..

Again the epiphany, the lightning strike and the 200K watt bulb going off in my head…..

Unlike Ben Franklin, Thomas Edison, Albert Einstein or even Ron Popeil (of RonCo fame), he never had a real tangible accomplishment (with the possible exception of marrying a hot bimbo.) They, on the other hand were brilliant minds in their time and actually put their theories to work, with actual products produced that revolutionized life during that period in history.

Those of a Liberal mindset tend to deal in the realm of theory, imagination or in other words, the intangible. Conservatives, unlike Liberals, tend to show their colors in actions, rather than words. The Conservative is basically more likely to roll up his sleeves, dive in and get dirty doing something of consequence. The Liberal is more likely to be the one to find a way of getting out of the task at hand or theorizing a reason that the task is bad.

Our President can use the words and ‘talk the talk,’ but simply cannot deliver the goods. Again, theory, versus action.

There is conclusive, incontrovertible evidence that the tax cuts by Kennedy, Reagan and Bush stimulated the economy: however, there is no evidence that stimulative spending by the Government has been successful (Many Economists fault stimulus spending as prolonging the Great Depression.)

I’m not responding to this story out of religious zeal, as I am Agnostic, but because it promoted me to take off the blinders and think about this state of affairs.
