  If I found out that this curriculum was in my 4th grader’s school, she would be yanked. I am the parent and I will decide how I teach her about sex. and that does not involve straight/gay tests and so on. In 5th grade, a child should only be learning what is absolutely pertinent to know about the development of his/her own body. Any questions about different lifestyles and so on should be directed to the child’s parent. Now if a parent wants to turn this over to the rampantly dumbed down public school system, more power to ya…and please don;t reproduce again. kids grow up too fast knowing too much b/c we the adults make them. i choose not to.

  I’m sorry…I live in the country with neighbors reasonably close by, but not on top of us, and if anyone of us wants to have a gathering for bible study or a party or whatever, no one complains. it’s our property. The govt is overstepping AGAIN, I could see if teh people gathering there were being charged for a service, then the city could consider it a business and require permits, or if they were gathering in public, but this is a private residence, not a public building or thoroughfare. One more reason to stay out of CA–they just proved they are full of left wing wacko nut jobs.

  Maybe I am dense, but I cannot for the life of me understand what having injuries from a cycle crash has to do with the fact that she was not appropriately clothed for Walmart—–and as a store manager for another chain, believe me, I’ve even seen worse!!! If she was at a beach or a biker bar, maybe, but I teach my daughters to dress modestly…..rule is, no boobs, no belly button, no butt crack, no underwear showing.

  Mr. Jones, how is anything you say helping this country get back to the power it once was? How does anything you say do any good for anyone? It only makes you look like an ignorant fool. I am teaching my kids to laugh at idiots like you, b/c what else can they do? You will not listen to reason, you only want it your way, which means Obama’s way, which means we are bankrupt and speaking Chinese as our national language. You cannot pull any more money out of this Christian, college-educated, WORKING mother of 5 who struggles to pay her bills, raise her family, finance their college, and I do it without taking or even asking for a dime from the govt. My husband and I, even as few as 20 years ago, would have been solidly middle class with our combined salaries. Now we are the working poor. WE are the ones the govt must listen to, not you.You need to go back to kindergarten and learn a few basic lessons, like not touching what isn;t yours, and that includes my paycheck. Grow up, you twit.

  History is history is history. I don’t have a single problem with teachers teaching about people who contributed toward history in a notable way, whether white (gasp!!), black, red, yellow, straight, gay, whatever….the problem I have is when a teacher is telling a class that such and such accomplishment is notable BECAUSE a person belonged to a specific group. Goes right along with special rights for different groups, or hate crimes legislation. It all leads to the brainwashing that certain groups of people are more special than others based on skin color or sexual lifestyle and so on…gee, what was all the civil rights hoopla about anyway if not over making sure we were all treated EQUALLY under the law…home schooling is sounding better and better.

  Just to say, most HOA’s are run by power hungry mindless little boobs…..this is why I refused to even consider any home where HOA’s would be a factor. I have too many friends who were told what color Christmas lights to put up and where and so on…….NO ONE should be prohibited from flying the American flag on their own property, as long as done respectfully to the flag. And for the poster who commented about employment contracts—most people in the workforce today are “at-will” employees—-they or company can terminate said employment at any time for any reason…..no contract involved…….

Stay out of my bedroom. Stay the hell away from me altogether and leave what’s left of our way of life alone.

  READ the flipping Constitution, Mr. Pseudo President……and tell the UN to get the hell out of my 2nd amendment rights while you are at it….oh that’s right, you WANT to screw the whole country over….Take your “executive order” and shove it up your rear end as far as it will go, b/c it ain’t worth the ink you used to sign it…..
