  There’s a guy who replicated the Oval Office circa 1960 who was on a show about strange obsessions. The real estate agent said it decreased the value of his house even tho it cost the guy $100,000 to build just the office.

  Interesting. Utah use to be 76% very religious for polls in years past. Interesting to see how many states are less than average, even those states where people attend church alot (like New Jersey, where I was born).

  Cuinsong, your comments not only describe the Israelis’ fight for the right to exist, but also the Mormons’ right for the fight to exist in the 1800s, as well as many other groups. I think of my pilgrim ancestors who came here from England because they couldn’t workship according to the dictates of their convictions. We need to support them.

  It‘s hard for me to believe McDonald’s will change – maybe they won’t use the pink slime but the process to make that sounds like how they make their hamburgers – crush everything up and use it all. I stopped eating them a few years ago when I got a piece of bone in every McD’s burger I ate over 6 months.

  I thought GB was out of line. Who is he to tell people how much to give? I’m hoping since he was laughing during that part of the interview that he was kidding. I’m LDS and give 10% but would never tell someone else – even another Latter-day Saint – how much to give.
