  Think about your comment and then see how many days you are working a month. I think you‘ll realize that even here in America we work about that same number unless you’re doing overtime. Don’t know how many hours they are “working” but 24 days a month is probably average for a lot of places.

  I admire Sheriff Joe and the work he does down on the border, but I can’t help but wonder if this is not a waste of time. The man has been President for 3 years now and the best way to get him out of office is to vote him out in November! That’s what we should be working towards now!

  On a side note, if there is a forgery, what kind of Constitutional crisis would there be regarding all of the executive orders and actions that he has taken in the last 3 years? Anybody have any ideas about how that would all be resolved?

  This guy seems like a genuinely good guy who got screwed by an overly sensitive company trying to protect itself. I think this entire story has been blown way out of proportion and have seen nothing whatsoever that says how Jeremy Lin felt about it! I don’t like the NBA and hope that Lin can change the image that his chosen profession has, but think he should have stepped up and tried to eliminate the controversy. This phrase was not meant in any way, shape or form to insult Lin or anybody else of Asian-American descent used in this context.

  What happened to freedom of speech and common sense in us as Americans? I hope this wakes more people up to the dangers of political correctness and helps us to turn this ship around soon!

  Kudos to the Chiefs and Coach Romeo on a terrific win! I doubt the ‘72 Dolphins even had the champagne bought looking at this week! I’m a big fan and I was figuring on another blowout but was pleasantly surprised by the offense making plays and the defense playing hard as they have done for the last month or so. Longshot for the playoffs but this was a Super Bowl caliber win for the boys in red!

  Awesome win by my Chiefs and Coach Romeo! I have been loving watching Rodgers and the Packers this season, but this was as big as a Super Bowl win after the season we’ve had. Good luck to the Packers the rest of the way. BTW, my sister-in-law teaches elementary school in Joplin, MO and was ecstatic to see the Chiefs players and staff hand out presents to the kids there in Joplin. Kudos to good people off the football field!

  I hate the new idea that Netflix CEO Hastings has come up with and am considering canceling my subscription but would like to know of alternatives before I do. Anything out there that is comparable without having to find a Redbox every time I want to watch something?

  This still won’t be enough to prevent a downgrade and only adds to the problem of increasing debt. The only good things I see are some progress on a BBA and the fact that there‘s no way this won’t be a campaign issue. Debt limit increase won’t be enough to get past November 2012, so watch to see how the GOP nominees vote on this. That will be key indicator.

  First, let me say that I admire Sen. Paul for not being goaded into a partisan argument or allowing Mr. Lemon to try to control the message. Several of the questions were leading and Sen. Paul calmly explained his position, admitted that he was open to compromise and that he understands what and how the American people are feeling. Keep up the good fight Sen. Paul and know that we are standing behind you and we are praying for you!

  Secondly, I would like to address the general tone of comments that I see not only on this piece but many others that I read. I don’t understand how we as Conservatives and Americans can rail and complain about the MSM and how the Liberal Establishment paints us in a bad light and uses “extremist rhetoric” to describe our positions, then turn around and do the same thing to them. The personal attacks and name-calling does nothing to change their minds or positions, just like we don’t change ours after hearing them. I believe that if we leave that stuff behind, and use logic and reasoning to get our points across, we do far more for our cause than if we attack. How many times have we changed our minds or positions after being attacked and put on the defensive? Didn’t we send these Tea Party Conservatives and “new blood” to Washington to raise the level of thinking and change the way business is done there?

  Join me in saying no more to the personal insults and attacks and use reason to change other’s minds and ourselves.
