  I also use a small local bank. I closed everything at US Bank when I went in for a car loan – high interest rate and they penalize you for paying off early. Clearly not in my best interests. I refinanced my mortgage and moved that too. My small bank knows my name and I feel good going there.

  I am a manager for a small business owner who employs 130 people. His unemployment payments are over $8,000 a MONTH. He almost closed the doors last week when he was $5,000 short making payroll. He has decided to tough it out – we all are – everyone in the company is taking a pay cut with the owner no longer drawing a paycheck at all. It is understood that IF Obama is re-elected in 2012 he will definitely close the business – Obamacare will do us all in. We are hanging by a thread and Obama’s answer is more stimulus to throw at state and local govts who will once again use it to shore up union pension plans. God bless our country…we need it.
