  I almost forgot – Cherlyn are you not aware of Marc Tucker’s letter to Hilary layig out the plans for the Education to work plan which was and is socialistic and included the use of foreign entities into our education system and is the very format being used today by our Federal DOE! Arne Duncan endorses IB – just what does that tell you?

  I say you are either a Rhino or a Republican who has not done her homework. The very fact that just because you have children enrolled in an INTERNATIONAL program does not mean it is good – have you read their textbooks – really? Make sure you also read the Earth Charter!

  Blaze I am disappointed in you! You have not done your research on IB either!

  I cannot pass up what you stated in your article – “Our country is facing a myriad of problems: unemployment, escalating debt, and instability in the Middle East. As a mom to two young children, I worry about the future they will face and the debt they will inherit. The education and preparation of our children to function in a dynamic world is essential to equip them for that future. We should be proud of and encourage education through programs like the IB program” AND YOU THINK THESE PROBLEMS CAN BE SOLVED BY INTRIDUCING SOCIALIST IDEOLOGY AND GLOBAL WARMING LIES INTO THE HEADS OF OUR CHILDREN FROM PRE-K THROUGH 12TH GRADE AND AT THE SAME TIME COSTING TAXPAYERS BILLIONS UPON BILLIONS OF $$$?

  Sounds like the Federal government to me – doesn‘t it you and quite frankly most of us who are wise as to where our country is today know that there really is no difference between the R’s and D’s – they just have a different way of leading us into a COMMUNIST COUNTRY – WELL, not through my children and grandchildren!

  HOME SCHOOL – HOME SCHOOL – HOME SCHOOL

  You cannot even trust Charter Schools today – riddled with scandals all over the country, no one watching and it is all about Bill Gates/Jeb Bush element of control of education and “education for profit”. If you think they have the best interest of our children at heart I have some swamp land here in Florida I will sell you.

  If your school is getting away with 2-3K a year you are very lucky. My district is spending over $1M here in FL and that is whith hidding things and not showing all the costs. Textbooks were not included nor were all the charges for teachers/pensions. They hide the true anounts within the school budget.

  Second Part:

  Cherlyn: Why is there such a push from the Federal government for Global education? The Federal Government has intruded into the education system of our children enough that they have practically ruined a whole generation through their “Dumbing Down” process. They are out on the streets and called Occupiers.

  IB is a most serious intrusion into our school systems and it is done coercivesly being a “propreitary” program. Schools and District who use this program have to give up all interest in the program. They are not privy to thetextbooks or what is in them, they have no idea what the curriculum is that is being taught other than the syllabuses presented but they have no idea if they are being followed nor does IB supply them with the changes to the syllabuses. It is once again all about the money and the only colleges who will praise IB are the ones headed by a strong Democratic base.

  I might add, to my knowledge, there have never been done any reports/analyses of the program comparing it to IB (other than by IB) AP or to children who do not participate in either IB or AP and go on to college and succeed very well.

  There was a comaprison done this year & paid for by Gates on the curriculum’s of IB, Texas, MA, and 2 others and the Texas curriculum beat them all out –

  The children in IB unless coming from a strong Judeo/Christian home are not aware of how they are being indoctrinated.

  Cherlyn,
  IB is something I have researched for the past 2 years as a “non-educator” and I have some questions for you to answer:
  1. If the elements of IB are so great, then why are we not taking the “great” parts of IB and incorporating them into our own curriculum rather than pay UNESCO/UN BILLIONS of dollars every year of which most taxpayers are not even aware they are paying with no “Proven” results to their program.

  2. IB along with all the other “GLOBAL” programs being supported by the State Dept. are an intrusion into our way of life. Do you not believe if our Global world has changed so much, that upon graduation from High School, if a child needed that type of training they could received it in college rather than costing states using the program BILLIONS of dollars?

  3. If there are no “kickbacks” in this program, than explain to me why School Districts.School Boards/ Superintendents fight so hard to implement the program or remove it if in place when teachers and parents fight so hard agaainst it, especially when it is in the majority over ruling their desires?

  4. Have you ever read their curriculum and do you understand it is basically a GLOBAL Religion teaching our children right from the Earth Charter that plants and animals are more important than humans? This even to the point you herar young children stating husmans should be dead because we are destroying the

  Just by the lack of comments on this you can tell Americans have gone back to sleep or I guess it is called apathy. The media has chosen the next president of the US for us, Romney included – now I suppose they will pick the VP too!   Please no one slam me because I do not care for the IRS either – however there are times when people are cheating the rest of us and the only way to know that is through audits/IRS. If they want to focus on Tea Party groups with all the news flagging around Tea Party Patriots, that is where I would start. No one has even received any of the grant money and with the law suit started by Jenny Beth and her hubby against Amy Kremer revealing the monthly large salaries going out to the TPP board – they are blowing and living on our donation monies.

  They have done nothing in the last year, refusing to address Agenda 21 and it’s evil head but they do have the money and energy to fly around the country, stay in hotels and flash their smiles on TV asking for more money every single week. Goodbye TPP!
