  • If you believe The Book, this only strengthens your faith, but if you don’t believe The Book in the first place, this won’t change your mind. Men‘s heart’s are hardened to The Lord. Jesus Christ rose from the dead and ascended into heaven in front of 3000 people and many Jews still rejected Him.
    Romans 10:10
    For WITH THE HEART man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

  • Leviticus 20:13
    If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood [shall be] upon them.

    Mark 6:11
    And whosoever shall not receive you, nor hear you, when ye depart thence, shake off the dust under your feet for a testimony against them. Verily I say unto you, It shall be more tolerable for SODOM AND Gomorrha in the day of judgment, than for that city.

  • 3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:

    4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

    If you read the verse before that, I don‘t understand how you could say Paul isn’t addressing atheists(or any other non-believer). Are not atheists lost, right along with everyone else who rejects the blood of Christ? Believers who don’t follow God are never lost, they’re backslidden, but thier salvation was sealed from the time they trusted Christ, and it can never be lost or plucked away.

  • 2 Corinthians 4:4
    In whom the god of this world hath BLINDED the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

  • 10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: and the knowledge of the holy is understanding.

    Proverbs 9:10

  • 24 Because I have called, and ye refused; I have stretched out my hand, and no man regarded;

    25 But ye have set at nought all my counsel, and would none of my reproof:

    26 I also will laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your fear cometh;

    27 When your fear cometh as desolation, and your destruction cometh as a whirlwind; when distress and anguish cometh upon you.

    28 Then shall they call upon me, but I will not answer; they shall seek me early, but they shall not find me:

    29 For that they hated knowledge, and did not choose the fear of the LORD:

    30 They would none of my counsel: they despised all my reproof.

    31 Therefore shall they eat of the fruit of their own way, and be filled with their own devices.

    32 For the turning away of the simple shall slay them, and the prosperity of fools shall destroy them.

    33 But whoso hearkeneth unto me shall dwell safely, and shall be quiet from fear of evil.

    Proverbs Ch 1
    I don’t care what those “atheists” say, they believe in something, and one day they’ll be sorry they forsook that old rugged cross. May God turn thier hearts to Him.

  • That girl had a devil in her, no doubt about it.

  • If you would’ve read my original reply to you original comment I wrote that John 6:52-58 ISN’T meant to be taken literally. It’s Catholics who take this passage literally. Re-read my original comment to you.

  • Oh yeah and just one more quick question…why is there no Acts 8:37 in the Catholic “bible”? With that one verse removed, it’s easy to see why so many folks think all they need to do to be “saved” is get baptized. Here’s Acts 8:37 in case you’ve never seen it:
    36 And as they went on [their] way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, [here is] water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

    37And Philip said, If thou believest with all thine heart, thou mayest. And he answered and said, I believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God.

    38 And he commanded the chariot to stand still: and they went down both into the water, both Philip and the eunuch; and he baptized him.

    Kind of important don’t you think? Wonder why the took it clear out…

  • One more question? Why when Paul was ending his letter to the Romans, how come he never acknowledged Peter, if Peter was the “rock” of the “one true church”? Why is Peter in Greek (Petros), not the same as the Greek word for “rock” (petra). They aren’t the same in Latin, or English either. Aramaic is the only language where one word could be both “Peter” and “rock”; that is why the Papists have latched on to the legend that Matthew was originally written in Aramaic. Peter IS NOT the rock in this verse and he never claimed to be (1 Pet. 2:5-8). “This rock” is a reference to Jesus Christ going down to Hell (not Hades), and back into Glory (Eph. 4:9). If you want to find out the fate of “the church”, check out Rev. Ch 17&18. There’s only one city that city on 7 hills and “she” is Rome. Now before you reply all I ask is that you proof read before you send. Your spelling and grammar aren’t the best and it wastes time trying decode what you write.
