  • I could be happy in a small house, or a big house, mine is small ‘in comparison’ to others, large in ‘comparison’ to others. I think that is why it is not wise to compare, because what do we compare to? However, I did find the film’s agenda, to me, discomforting. The ‘voice’ on the film sounded like PBS and the agenda was clear and discomforting to me. I will continue to reach out to those whom I can in my sphere of influence, and I know that the less that the ‘state’ bothers me, the more I can do. My heart has been changed to care for people, and from what I see of the ‘states’ motivaton, it is not about help, but control, and even that is very inefficient. So, get out of my way, please.

  • I have seen good things about Mayor Booker for years now. I think this is ‘par for he course’, as far as he is concerned. I mean that as a compliment, by the way. I am glad to read that he is still in Newark, NJ and is still serving in a good and Godly manner. May God Bless him for his self-giving heart.

  • Take a good look at a picture of Louis F. and Glenn B. side by side, from this article, or find any one of GB on this site, and tell me who is the angry, hateful one. The thing that stood out to me was the clear anger and hate in LF’s picture. Just saying…..

  • I am amazed at how the left needs to take things out of context, or twist things. If you will notice, Lumbar, Snow says that they were ‘aware’ a month into BHO presidency, of the danger they perceived he is to the country. I do not read anything about discussing, plotting, a month in his presidency. Oh, but we dare not let a little things like facts get in the way. If you must distort or mislead to get your point across, maybe you do not have a firm basis for your thoughts. Let me ask you this Lumbar, do you think that the military should take you out if BHO ordered it? Do you have that kind of implicit trust in him?

  • I commend those who refuse to sell their soul for a buck, here and around the world. It is not about the ‘show’, it is about Him. I have often wondered what Jesus would do were He to be physically present at our ‘services’. I often wonder if He would even be welcome, it might be a distraction.

  • Thanks for the positive responses. I did not write for that, but I am encouraged. I have seen several responses that show a response I have had in the past, but by His grace it will stay there. We find what we look for in people. I see the glass for her being 7/8 full, and since I believe that 7/8 is Him, I trust that He will be able to take care of her. My responsibility is that I keep my eyes on Him (Jesus), and look out for what I know He needs to do in my life. The more I see what He has done for me, the more grace I will have for others. That is the word for today for me, grace. GRACE TO YOU TODAY!

  • I will take her word for why she makes the choices she makes. I respect her for her decision, and I am grateful that she, unlike many so-called Christians, gets it. When we say we follow Christ, it will make a difference in how I live, my choices have consequences and affects other people. For those who doubt her sincerity, or assign other motivations, a saying I like is, “Don’t measure another persons bushel by your own half peck.” Often when we assign motives to someone else, we are just indicating how I would respond if I was in their situation (more telling about us than them). Thanks Glenn for this kind of positive perspective.

  • So, tell me again, and try to think this through, what does contraception or lack thereof, have to do with the govt restricting the “free exercise thereof”, as in Congress shall make no laws restricting religions’ establishment? Do you or do you not believe in this ammendment? It does not say, now try to follow along liberals, that religion should not affect the govt, but that government shall NOT restrict religions’ free exercise. Sounds pretty simple to me.

  • We may also find out that the rich benefit from the current administration’s policies. Say it ain’t so!

  • Say it isn’t so, paid corruption in the Labor Movement. The next thing you know, we will find out that some Presidents were not faithful to their wives.
