  Some guy was beating on his girlfriend in the middle of the store. 3 of our managers stepped into break it up. The police were called, and the man was arrested. None of our managers were repremanded.

  This same exact scenerio happened at the grocery store I work at last week.

  Who said Atheism isn’t a religion? It’s godless, but essentially it’s an alternative perspective to exactly the same questions that conventional religion seeks to answer. I read these posts every week detailing why Atheists are an enemy and it’s saddening. And at the same time no one on here is wrong. These people who feel a need to shove science down the throats of believers, are no better than than a muslim extremist forcing “islam” down the throat of the world. I grew up in a Catholic family with conservative beliefs. I do not believe in God, but I was brought up in such a way that allows to me respect that perhaps I may not be right, and perhaps you may not be right. Either way, I just feel like I need to let everyone know that not all Atheists are ignorant, liberal, fascists. The people in these articles make me ill.

  I’ve said it once on here before, and I’ll say it again. Not all of us atheists are ignorant, intolerant ********. People like this make me sad. They project the wrong image for people like me.

  I have a friend who thinks, like you, that religious people are delusional. My question to him is, although I also do not believe in a god, who’s to say we are not the delusional ones? What if we are wrong? I frankly believe I’ll spend the rest of eternity in a pine box. End of Story. But I‘m also intelligent enough to say that I could be completely wrong and if I find myself standing infront of some pearly white gates one day I’ll admit my mistake and say “oh crap! Well I apparently sucked at life!”
