  • I take back the comments I posted when the video initially appeared when it appeared the first contact made was when the cop asked “Can I help you?”. She still shouldn’t have been arrested police are professionals and have to act as such. She baited him, and he took it.

  • Video games, basically simulators probably taught him how.

  • Ridiculous, officer made no comment about a group of people, neighbors watching from the window saw the confrontation unfold and came out to see why. Officer was trying to cover his back by saying “I feel threatened by what you said before you started filming” Leaving her no way to prove nothing was said before hand, unless the squad cars picked it up. It’s very obvious when the initial contact was made when the officer asked what she was doing.
I come from a family of four generations of law enforcement and have trained under defensive tactic officers and help to train officers in CQC and I can tell you that they feel if they give an order that you have to obey it. The guy they stopped was DWB (driving while black) and they got themselves busted on tape.
I was stopped by 4 units once (I was in the wrong) but there was a sergeant there who knew me and had given me permission to exit the vehicle, while I was talking to the Sarge an overzealous officer walked over and said “Why don’t you get back in your (effing) car? My response was “It’s going to take you and the other five of you to put me in my car, so why don’t you get back in your (effing) car”
I‘m 5’4″ and when I left he was sitting in his car. Sometimes the juice isn’t worth the squeeze.
What police need to learn is the person makes a badge worth something, not the other way around.

  • Stoic One: “Careful, they backed the colonies during the revolution against the British.”

Wasn’t it the French Monarchy that backed the colonists? The same monarchy that that was brought down in a bloody revolt just a few years later? Obviously I don’t have a problem with people taking down kings, but at the same time you can’t give credit to the French for supporting us when the last thing the person who decided to support us saw was a quickly descending guillotine blade.

  • I don’t like all the ridiculous rules at these monuments, I think people should be able to sing the anthem if they want and even dance, but this is contrived. Look at the photo tagged to the article with the guy wearing the “911 was an inside job” t-shirt, that’s about all I need to know. Flash mob dancing is a ploy, they congregate and start moving about wildly and nothing happens, they do it again and again and nothing happens and the police become lax, finally they do it again and the police don’t pay attention having become numb to it and then the riot starts and the cops are overrun (God help them)

  • I’m curious, I thought as president Obama was the head of his party, why hasn’t he weighed in on this. I guess the bigger question though is why hasn’t anyone asked the White House to comment. Perhaps they have and I missed it but I don’t think so.

  • Unless the mission statement quoted has been falsified then your entire statement can be patented by Miracle-Gro and used for fertilizer. Why try to convince myself that their stated goals are not heart felt.

  • There are plenty of self-hating Jews out there. They are the Chosen but their history is rife with being rebuked by God.

  • “the first rule about the obama economic plan , is we do not talk about the obama economic plan”

    NOW THAT IS FUNNY!!

  • I have to disagree, yes they do claim to revere Jesus as a prophet, (I think) second only to muhammad, but considering the fact that He was/is God incarnate it seems to me that He was included in the qu’ran as a way to diminish Him.
