  Ah, so D@cknose Maher has came out in defense of Rush? He just knows that this is starting to deflect towards him and his comments and his donations to Obama.

  Maher, MediaMatters,…… I implore you to assail them with their own tactics. We’ve taken it long enough.

  I think they need to be at least shaken up to the damage their tactics cause.

  We have a right to freedom of speech just like they do.

  the truth is, most people won’t even entertain these questions because of one simple thing.

  Race.

  No one wants to impeach the FIRST Black President.
  No one wants the riots, the lengthy process that goes into it that would go into the election season.
  The Repubs cannot take the chance that this issue will be used a racial hammer to bludgeoun them with. Which is Ironic because thats just what Obamas strategy will be anyway.

  I agree, I ‘d prefer at least an open mind to hear why folks are so behind the Birther thing. Im surprised that someone who can supposedly read so much, not entertain other reason why and how a birth announcement could be faked. Not saying it was , but may I even offer that it may be a simple case of someone having some money to bribe hawaiian newspaper in effort to make sure his son isn’t an illegal alien…Rather than just assuming that the newspaper could onl;y have a crystal ball and saw he was going to be president.

  Just theories…but if Glenn can theorize that the US is GOG and Russia is MAGOG ( glenn remember than in 2004-5)..I’d be cautious in assuming someones crazy.

  The thing i can’t quite understand is, Why did Arpio not address the E-VERIFY issue that was supposed to be the focus of the press conference? ( same day Rush gets strange package and Mr Breitbart dies—–just saying)

  The E-verify issue sounds like a stronger case than rehashing the birther thing.

  While I don’t agree with the Birther argument, Glenns argument is also silly.

  Glenn maintains Arpio must be crazy because he DEBUNKED it because of the Hawaiian newspaper birth announcement.

  Glenns agrument supposes theres no other reason the her could be collusion unless they had a magic crystal ball and could see Obama becoming pres.

  Thats also is crazy. If Obama’s father was some sort of criminal ( not saying he was ) or Obama was here illegally, then wouldn’t have a reason to Bribe the papers if he new someone? Hypotheticaly speaking , i can think of many ways that someone might have a stake in having papers forged and bribing someone to publish a birth announcement.

  I don’t believe in such theories, But I don’t discount, Like Glenn does, that there can’t be other reasons .

  Funny how everyone said it was a landslide….When BEFORE SC Romney was leading in FL with about 15-20%…..After SC he won with…..14%….when pundits were predicting a win total of 20-25%.

  yeah…landslide.

  And BTW…..Huckabee had the gall to LIE on FOX and say in his analysis that Newt looked– paraphrasing here –“ beaten and defeated and it wore it on his face” . ALL THE WHILE, most other pundits , including Krauthammer, said that Newts speech was even better than Romneys acceptance.
