  Actually, I think Ron Paul would get A LOT of independents. He would get the pragmatist Libertarians who understand that it would be better to vote for a fellow Libertarian than to continue to fight against the establishment.

  He would also get a lot of the gay vote due to his belief in the privatization of marriage, hippies/anti-war people due to his non-interventionist policy, and a lot of social democrats (blue dogs) who don’t agree with the big spending of the Democrat party.

  The debates, honestly? Have you seen Ron Paul in ANY of the GOP debates? If they were real, full out debates, Ron Paul would wipe the floor with every other candidate. As it is, he is already considered to either be number one or one of the top in every debate to this point.

  You are absolutely wrong. You don’t get to decide what religion is correct or what morality is correct; that’s what got us into this trouble in the first place.

  And by the way, we had drugs and prostitution legal for over 100 years without any trouble.

  You know what, I don’t believe that ANY drugs should be legal because ANYTHING that alters your state of mind is evil. That includes anti-depressants, caffeine, pain-killers, alcohol, nicotine, etc.
  Doesn’t make sense does it…

  Unemployment is much higher than 9%, that’s just what the government tells you. The truth is that many, many, many more people are unemployed. Look up the numbers for yourself. The number of people in this country who are of working age compared to the number of jobs makes the unemployment closer to 36%. Now of course you need to factor in retirees, disabled, etc. but that still wouldn’t bring it anywhere near 9%.

  Anybody who is b****ing about the cop is an idiot. The woman was trying to keep the police from arresting the other person. Now while it looks like he “slapped” her, he really was trying to push her out of the way so that he could do his job. The woman went ape **** on the cop and he had to get the situation under control. Now while in a normal situation a punch to the face may not have been necessary, but he couldn’t get to restraining the woman without physically punishing her to get her to the ground.
  Now anybody who says that cops lives aren’t on the line every day, try putting yourself in their shoes for a second. Many people HATE cops. If somebody is a criminal, they may be calculating whether it would be better to be arrested or to KILL the cop and try to run. I‘m sure you’ve heard of people killing police officers on routine traffic stops; well, some motorcyclists have even put single shot guns in their handle bars to shoot police! Police DO put their lives on the line EVERY DAY!
  And one more thing for all you babies who think that this was too far. You NEVER go into a fight thinking anything other than “I‘m going to beat the crap out of this person as quickly and effectively as possible so that I DON’T DIE.” You have to assume in EVERY fight that the other person has a weapon because the one time you don’t is the time that you get KILLED. And by the way, he didn’t beat the crap out of her in any way. He punched her in the face and then arrested her. Kudos sir.
