  Early in my brother-in-law’s Marine Corps career, he got a command at Camp Lejuene and we went down for his change of command ceremony – after which he got us a few hours in the indoor simulator in which they had weapons converted to air pressure to simulate recoil – 50 cals, mk19, Javelines, etc – all were tied into a computer system with a big video screen where you could actually train and shoot in different scenarios. The one was a shoot dont shoot simulator where it was actually real people they filmed to put you in different situations. You had to be on your toes and watch the perps and situation closely. They had so many scenarios with the same situations. The one time I was using a .45, in the scenario a guy was acting suspiciously, he reached into his pocket, wouldnt obey our commands and started to pull his hand out – I immediately shot him in the head – they let the video play through – he pulled out a handkerchief – the Marines running the sim started laughing telling me to enjoy my time in the brig. The next time through – same video – he pulled out a gun. Gives a person a better understanding of what our Mil and LE go through, and even common people put into these situations.   Team Rubicon – Region 7
  Team Wichita is currently assisting in the delivery of food and water, as well as supporting the Salvation Army to gain access to the harder hit areas. In many locations Team Rubicon is sole provider of support in the form of debris clearance, safety assessments, volunteer organization and food and water aid delivery. TR VII

  After completing an insane amount of work, debris clearing, food & water drops to harder hit areas, setting up VOAD and completing searches…we are wrapping up the Wichita Operations. The area is in very capable hands and a visible difference was made by all volunteer organizations.

This is the only NGO I have supported that has ever offered the left over portion of your donation back. They are seasoned Veterans and First Responders and are very responsible with their resources.   Support our Vets helping these disaster victims. If you’re not aware of these guys, you need to be. They are returning veterans with a desire to continue to serve. It was started by a former Marine Sniper/Wisconsin Badger Jake Wood right after the earthquake in Haiti. In Haiti they through a rag tag team of ER docs, Military Veterans, Paramedics, and combat vets together and helped thousands of victims before big NGO’s could get running.

  Please take the time to check these guys out. It is a great story that you will want to be a part of. It is also being used to help returning Vets to readjust to civilian life, but still work side by side with others that have served. I have sent their story to the Blaze, GBTV suggesting a piece be done on them to no avail. They even ventured into Pakistan last year during their disaster to help, no other NGO would risk it…

  Please check them out – it’s a great way to help disaster victims in need while supporting our return vets… If your a vet, first responder, doctor, looking to help you can join their teams as well.

  Yep, tithing was required/commanded under the law. In the New Testament however tithing is not mentioned one time in the context of a commandment. It is however a good example for giving.

  We do not pay tithes as in under the law, but give tithes.
