  It really helps to read the article before commenting. The headline indicating that these pastors are taking the words “gay” and “rainbow” back from the gay community should have been a tip off that the pastors are not homosexual — they are making a point about the gay community co-opting the language, redefining terms, and they want to restore the word “gay” and the symbol of the rainbow to their original meanings. Why would anyone burn in hell for that???

  The article stated that she has two children from a previous marriage — referring to her as an unwed mother with regard to the first two is very misleading. I hope this was just a matter of you not carefully reading the article before posting.

  We need to remember that the verdict choices are guilty or not guilty. A not guilty verdict does not mean the jury deems the defendant innocent; it means the jury did not believe the prosecutor met the burden of proof required for a guilty verdict (beyond reasonable doubt in criminal cases).

  My heart goes out to the victims’ family members and pray they find the comfort and peace that only God can provide.

  Can’t help but think that part of the problem is people going to church for the purpose and with the expectation of receiving something (self-centered), rather than showing up looking for opportunities to give or be a blessing to someone else (others-centered). You’ll be surprised how much you receive when you show up to serve.

  Can’t help but wish this young man had used more discernment and stayed away from the political partisanship. Launching partisan attacks at the beginning of the video undermimes a message that should have widespread applicability and hurts his credibility. In God’s eyes, we are unique individuals created in His image (not members of political parties) and will be judged as individuals.
  He is a product of Washington State, a bastion of progressivism, so I may be too much to expect him to have escaped all indoctrination.
