  I don’t know if people realize how comon MRSA is. As a nurse, I can tell you that we expect that most healthcare workers carry it without knowing it. You have just as good a chance of getting it in a hospital setting as you do going through the store next to other people. For most people, you can carry it without having any ill affects (you don’t get sick).

  It drives me crazy when places report things like this but leave out facts like above.

  My son’s current public school has a horrible way of dealing with bullies. You get bullied and tell a teacher, guess what happens, the bully AND YOU get in trouble. It‘s one reason he’s going to private school next year. In most cases, you stand up to your bully once… they all leave you alone after that. I’m sorry, I feel that standing up for yourself is the answer in some cases.

  You have to have enough speed to get up a snow/ice covered hill no matter if you have a 4×4 or not. I’ve taken some pretty icy/snow covered hills, but i made sure that I had enough speed first(and only on straight hills) before I’d try. Usually you end up doing about 10-20mph by the time you get up the hill because hitting the gas or breaks on the way up will get you right back down the hill again….

  The previous poster is right, we here in IL tried to get a better govenor, every county except one chose a different one than we ended up with. It is sad that one county can win the whole state here. Maybe it is time to go get my nursing licence in another state and move.

  Didn’t you hear, we’re getting that too! Thats right, free government cell phones to anyone who qualifies, because after all, its our right!
  I am so tired of paying for these things with taxes.
