  i worked at a grocery store 1969-1970 in Gainesville FL (GO GATORS!). Even that far back the semis that brought the case goods had a paper disc/clock type recording system that graphed the time/duration as to whether the truck was running or not. The drivers hated it, said that mgt used that to see if they were taking breaks along the way or not.

  Why not just sell the spot to the memorial organization (create it if not already there) and then it is on private property.

  It’s just the way some things are. My grandaddy bought a litter of pigs each spring to raise through the summer. Like his daddy before him, he would castrate the males with a razor blade. He’d prob go to jail for it now.

  CHARJAN – thenewspaper has had a number of stories about WA. How towns (backed by the camera companies) are suing their own citizens to keep them from getting the signatures to support a vote on the cameras.

  Thus far, regardless of the companies sayig the public want these systems, only one has passed when put to a vote.

  Cameral companies have been caught setting up a non-profit, then hiring the widow to use as a spokeman to plead for passage so no one else has to go through what they did.

  “Hi” – Check out http://www.thenewspaper.com and http://www.motorists.org There is zero proof that redlight cameras save lives. The coincidences/fraud are astounding.

  “Locked” – true if the system were legit. but municipalities have conspired with camera companies to shorten lights, put the cameras where there is more traffic vice where more accidents to “prevent”. Millions in tickets for your bumper over the line.

  No purpose other than revenue.
