  • I think a memorial would be a great idea. It would go something like this: At this location, On 28 September, Delicious, juicy hamburgers and Steaks came to market. Lovingly tenderized by America’s best selling pickup, the Ford F-150.

the preceding was a paid advertisement from Ford Motors, Inc. and Outback Steakhouse.

  • There were plenty of folks who voted for the ticket of Mc Cain/Palin simply because they liked Palin. I believe that Newt is simply trying the same tactic.

  • There are two posts in this thread that I want to comment on. I just wanted to add my two cents here and say that I would take the word of the Gun Owners of America over the NRA each and every time. How in the world could any supposed gun rights organization give Romney a “B” rating? That tells you right there why GOA calls themselves the “No Compromise” gun lobby.

Interesting results you have there. The NRA Political Victory Fund has them graded differently. http://www.nrapvf.org. I‘ll stick with the NRA’s grading system as they even recommend Democrats sometimes as they only consider the candidates position on the 2nd Amendment and don’t allow any other platforms to persuade their grading.

Newt Gingrich couldn‘t find a grade for him under archives but he’s a progressive so I bet it’s a D or and F

  • Ron Paul has my vote. In both the primary and the general election. If he does not get the nomination I will vote for him using the write-in method. I will vote for the individual whom I believe is the best person to lead this country and I will not let the GOP establishment, Faux News, or Glen Beck tell me what to think. I am through with voting for what or whom I hope is the lesser or two evils. No matter which party is in office, our country continues to go down the tubes. Ron Paul 2012!

  • I’m reminded of the words: “He who hath no sin cast the first stone.” Many of the people who post on this website claim to be Christian. To me, the teachings of Christ can be summed up pretty easily. 1. Love one another and 2. Don’t judge one another. What a wonderful world this would be if we would listen to what Jesus said and then actually do what he told us to do.

  • I can’t speak for anyone else, but I sure am :-)

  • Whitehorse, Sir, just out of curiosity, would you mind if I asked what state you live in? That sounds like one heck of a good deal.

  • BLUEBONNET, I just wanted to make a comment about what you wrote. I completely agree. Your Mother was a heck of a lady, it is a shame that more mothers aren’t like her. And I agree that most children today are spoiled. It isn’t their fault, but the parents. I believe that the children we be able to adapt better than their yuppie parents when things get rough.

    In reply to teddrunk.

    I sure hope so.

  • I don’t agree with everything this man says, but where exactly is he lying in this video? The original video that was repeatedly shown of Reverend Wright was pretty much an “in your face” type of thing, but I agreed with most of it. America needs to remember and be a republic, not an empire. I know that Glenn Beck owns this website and I do agree with a whole lot of what Mr. Beck says. My only points of disagreement with Glenn are when he thinks that war really is the answer to the world’s problems and that we must always defend Israel. If you study some of the things that Israel has done to the United States, it shows that we really cannot trust the Israeli government. And one thing I get so sick of is that everyone who disagrees with anything that the nation state of Israel does is instantly labeled as being anti-semitic. I disagree with the Rev. when he blames all white people for the actions of the media and the government. Nobody should do that. I would like to think that the people of other countries might dislike what our government does without hating all american citizens. There will probably be a lot of negative responses to my post, but I do believe what I have written. I anyone can show me that I am wrong, then I can and will change my mind. I wish that the U.S. Government would stop trying to control the whole planet. We are following in the footsteps of all the other empires of the world and the result will quite likely be the same. Happy 4th of July everyon
