  I hope people will calm down now and let jthe justice system do its job. I believe Mr. Zimmerman should be given bail that is not excessive. He has shown that he was not going to flee. If he is able to post bail, he should be left alone to plan his defense. He should be able to live unmolested. We are a nation of laws. He should not be followed around by either the media or private citizens. He is, under the law, INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY, in a court of law. Let us remind others of this FACT.

  Now let’s hope, in the name of “justice” that when Mr. Zimmerman’s bail is set, it is not excessive. If he posts bail, he should be left alone by others, so that he, like any other defendant can live in peace, plan his defense, and receive his day in court. None of this hounding him, and following him arpound. He is, as any other defendant, INNOCENT UNTIL PROVEN GUILTY in a court of law. NO ONE has the right to exact “street justice” upon him. I, and no one else has the right to interfere with his right, under the law, to be able to go aboout his life unmolested. regardless as to one’s personal opinion about what happened, we are a nation off laws. Let us encourage everyone to abide by this fact.

  Homophobia? Let ‘s see, a phobia is an irrational fear of something. I have NEVER met a person who was irrationally fearful of another persons sexual proclitivities. Distaste for certain sexual behavior is not a phobia. Homophobia is not a real condition. It is a word to marginalize and demonize those who don‘t accept homosexual practice as a normal use of a person’s body.

  My 16 year-old neighbor boy was into houses as part of a teen-age burglary ring. It became common knowledge after he was arrested. He has a smart mouth. One day he said the wrong thing to me and I told him, in front of his mother, that if I ever caught him in my house, I would blow the black off of him! I told him “I will send you to Hell from my livingroom. His mother was speechless. I haven’t had a problem with him since. By the way I am Black….

  The REAL original Black panthers actually did things to help their neighborhoods. As a teen, I remember them spponsoring health screenings, mentoring and other positive. they did not overtly and blatently foment race hatered. They did not teach thaqt we had to hate “whitey”, in oreder to love our communities.

  I am a Black man. I live in cleveland, Ohio, in an decent inner city neighborhood. I find people of Malik Shabazz’s ilk to be reprerehensible. I take care of my propety, am active in my church, head my neighborhood‘s homeoenr’s and tenants association. i encourage our residents to fight PEACEABLE and LEGALLY aginst things that negatively affect our quality of life. I am not worried one iota about some “white” hispanic (WTH?) or and white anything doing me harm. every time a house is broken into in my neighborhood, it is done by another Black person. The few shootings we have had arwere done by other Black people. Any drug dealing in the area is done by other Black people, from what I can determine. I wish Mr. Shabazz would use his energies to affect BLACK ON BLACK crime. of course, if he did, he would never have time to call news conferences. BTW, I bet hios real name is something like Herman Francis Johnson….And he lives in his mama’s basement.
