  Well, Bennie the bigot, what problems do you have with interracial marriages and just how does that weaken the American culture? Seems to me that NOLA’s Mardi Gras is a Roman Catholic/voodoo cult bastardization — sounds pretty much like mainstream America to me.

  Also, the green blob thingy — big deal — if that’s a problem, then let’s get rid of drunken Irishmen shamrock celebrations and that pagan German Oktoberfest culture, too. Otherwise, if a celebration is kept within a, say, Mexican community and not forced down on everyone, no harm, no foul.

  Maher’s a comedian. As such, nothing on his show should be taken seriously. In fact, it would be better if his show wasn’t watched or reported on by people with functioning memories at all.

  Honestly – a secular school needs no “prayer” — especially when the theme of this one has no relationship to anything Biblical. It’s a sports prayer. Let families teach their own prayers and leave the student behavior enforcement to the school officials during school hours and extracurricular events, not some goofy man-made concept of “smile when you lose as well as when we win” stupidity.

  For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt.
