  Someone sent me a link to a video where he supposedly admitted being born in Kenya. It looked pretty convincing until I realized the admission to being born in Kenya was while his head was turned away from the camera. Glen is right. For heaven’s sake, there are birth announcements in the paper from 1960, and his birth record in Hawaii meets Government requirements for proof of birth. There is another more practical bit of information. I’ll bet the town in Kenya did not even have phone service to be able to call Hawaii to let the grandmother put a birth announcement in the paper. Also, Obama’s parents were smart enough to arrange to be in the US for the birth to give their baby the benefits of citizenship and to take advantage of modern health care. Even now, a woman would have to be crazy to want to deliver a baby in Kenya instead of Hawaii. This issue is a distraction and does not warrant the attention it get from conservatives.

  The adoption, selective service, passport, social security records, and now the medical records are a bigger concern to me. What passports were issued? Did he have a significant brain injury? Because the press and other presidential candidates did not do their job in vetting the candidates for president, we will probably never get all of the answers. It is obvious that he is in way over his head, and he is so entrenched in his liberal ideology that he can’t even let reality change his beliefs. These are much bigger concerns than investigating how Hawaii natives kept records in 1960.

  If we were smarter, we would be investigating every republican and tea party prospective candidate for skeletons in their closets. You know how much the MSM found out about Palin very quickly. They will protect and defend Obama to the degree that they will be full time advertisers for his campaign. And they will spare no expense in investigating conservatives. We need to drop the whole birth certificate thing and use our energies strategically to win elections. Besides, if you get rid of Obama using a technicality, we are stuck with a senile VP as president. Let’s move on.

  Dawg of God, Cheney is from Wyoming. He was visiting the King Ranch in south Texas on vacation. I don’t remember if he was drunk, but it is suicidal to allow a drunk person to wield a gun. The Secret Service really messed up if that was the case.

  My son took marksmanship and gun safety as part of his school curriculum when he was eleven years old in rural Texas. That was about fifteen years ago. The school used BB guns for instruction, and the kids were also taught about game laws and conservation. When I was a kid in Texas, boys used to get their first firerarm before they learned to drive. They had been hunting with their fathers and brothers since age nine or ten, and typically got their guns for Christmas. Real weapons were NEVER considered toys, nor pointed at anything that one was not prepared to kill.

  Now I teach criminal justice college classes part time. Though we don’t often discuss it, about 20 percent of my students (male and female) have permits to carry weapons. One professor did a lesson on the reliability of eye witness testimony by staging a fake attack on himself. During the lecture he arranged to have a graduate student come in screaming and attack him. The grad student was then supposed to leave the room, and the class was supposed to accurately describe the attacker. At the peak of the “attack” a student pulled a gun out of his boot, pointed it at the “attacker” and ordered him to stop.

  I’m waiting for the SEIU leaders to get arrested under the RICO statutes. They are engaged in an organized criminal enterprise by encouraging union members to break the law, trespass, threaten and assault public officials and business owners. They do all of this in an effort to extort money and other benefits from others. This is way beyond organized protests. It is extortion to avoid violence to people and businesses.

  Come on. Lighten up about the Beck comment. Pregnant women can say whatever they want around me. Keep telling yourself that it‘s only temporary and it doesn’t have to make any sense. They are not required to be rational or consistent in their remarks. It’s too hot. It’s too cold. Crying at commercials, etc.. It’s all worth it in the end. The only person who should be concerned is Rep. Wiener. I can see her coming across the desk and twisting his head off of his neck for interrupting her.

  This is an offer to give campaign cash! Obama showed in the last election that he would take money from anywhere on the planet and the MSM would completely ignore it. If Quddaffi will just let go of a considerable amount of that untraceable gold in his Swiss bank, then I’m sure that Obama would call off the war.

  Copper, you are right. There is no tolerance for dissent when arguing with the liberals who have the power in colleges. My kids made it through with their conservative values intact. They carefully chose their battles with liberal staff members and developed friendships with people of conservative values. It is best to be practical and not pick fights with the administration, just as one would have to do in a job. That girl will not last on a job with that chip on her shoulder.

  The imaginary boogyman of man caused global warming is scarier than the actual scourge of AIDS and tropical diseases? This woman proves that having a high IQ and college degrees is no substitute for common sense. The global warming morons completely ignore the inaccuracy of weather prediction on a local level even two weeks into the future, but they are certain that the science is settled on man caused global warming. They tell us that they are talking about climate, not weather, and then they totally disregard the infancy and inacuracy of climate science. Dolts! Then, they give us the idiotic solution of allowing the biggest poluters on the planet to keep polluting, while imposing high taxes on the relatively clean first world nations. The taxes would then be given to the big polluters in third world nations so they could open multi-billion dollar accounts in Swiss banks. The morons don’t even see a problem with that idiotic plan. And these are the people running our country. God help us…..please!

  China solved it’s centuries old problem with opium dens sapping the wealth and productivity of the country by executing opium addicts. Soon, the addicts were dead or the natural survival instincts kicked in with anyone who could stop using, and the problem was solved. Of course we are too humane to do such a thing, but we could make a deal with Mexico. They could take our drug users and addicts that provide a market for the drug cartels and do with them what they will, and we will take all of their hard working people who are just trying to better their lives by escaping Mexico and getting American jobs. I could agree to a quick path to citizenship for those hard workers. We don’t need anymore welfare parasites or drug addicts, but we can use all of the hard working people dreaming of a better life that we can get.
