Ironically, that T-shirt gives me the impression she WOULD f a Senator…. ANY Senator. Or- anyone ELSE, at any time, for that matter. Yet, she thinks it expresses some grand statement about deserving respect as a woman. Silly girl.
You are absolutely correct. At the same time, this truth doesn‘t mean that a private business has to be forced to serve you while you’re practicing your right to free speech.
Wow. How do you become someone who, a.) thinks that T-shirt is so great, you actually pay money for it… and b.) is so proud of it, you need to wear it to a crowded airport when you travel??
Obviously she has no concept of common decency, Traveling by plane is not a RIGHT. They absolutely can refuse you service. You don’t like it? Rent a car. I bet she‘d be flippin’ out if her daughter read “Abortion is murder!” on some woman’s T-shirt.
I know Barton is a nice guy, but I was disappointed that he backed down so many times and let Stewart run over him. I didn’t feel he was able to make many good points. Stewart kept interrupting him and redirecting him and making jokes about what he was saying. Having heard Barton in a setting where he is able to fully address an issue or question without being interrupted 5 seconds into it, I found this interview frustrating. I don’t think Stewart honestly cared to get real enlightenment on Jefferson, religious freedom, or anything else.
Freedom of the Press. They had a right to be there. The Media irritates the crap out of me too, but we don’t get to cherry pick only the rights we like. The young man had a right to carry that gun, but he doesn‘t have the right to threaten people with it just because they didn’t move fast enough for his taste.
We have the right to bear arms. We DON’T have the right to threaten people with those arms whenever we get ticked off. A responsible gun owner could’ve dealt with that situation without ever having to take that gun out at all.

Come on everyone. I am as conservative as can be, and want to throw a shoe at the screen every time this President shows up on my television screen – - but lets be honest here. If a Conservative President (if we ever see such a thing again) did the very same thing, we conservatives would be saying how calm and politely he handled the situation. There’s nothing to see here. There’s enough REAL crap about this President to harp on LEGITIMATELY. When we make a big deal out of silly things like this, it hurts our credibility.

Sooo…to be clear, your argument is: “Let the degenerates among us dictate decency”?
