  • It is a common practice to come together in prayer for God’s protection. At least Santorum’s group of pastors is a diverse reflection of the American population…Obama’s in 2008, not so much.

  • The saddest thing to me is the Democrats exploitation of blacks and hispanics for votes, and the way Colbert belittles and exploits blacks and hispanics with full approval of the Democratic Party, because they think it hurts Republicans. Democrats even called Colbert into a serious congressional meeting with him filmed making fun of the hispanic migrant workers in the fields, Find the video and weep for the workers being exploited. Look at their confused faces, and then look at the confused black faces behind Colbert in the video above. The good thing, is that these exploited groups are slowly figuring it out. They are not being helped by Democratic policies. These are smart people, who have sadly been deemed “useful idiots” by the Democratic party. Their eyes will be opened, and they will see. Hopefully sooner than later. Shame on Herman Cain for participating in any way with this farce.

  • Could be they are all McCain’s, and Obama will win by a landslide. Not pimping, just my humble opinion. What is yours?

  • Rick Perry is the only Republican candidate with a chance at beating Obama. This is going to be the dirtest campaign ever waged, Obama is desperate, and he has many menions to do his dirty work. Obama’s hands will be clean, that is how he has operated from day one. Here is my view of how each will look after the attack. Memes do stick. Romney-Mormon freak. Gingrich-Arrogant, old, unfaithful, Pelosi lover, Paul Ryan hater, flip floper, etc. etc. Cain-too much swirling around in that head, and in a whisper Cancer. What can Obama say about Perry? Idiot clinging to his gun and Bible? Racist! We can’t find the N-Rock, but we are sure he painted it as a child, and all those many Black friends and supporters are Uncle Toms? Wants to secure the border and support Hispanics with the Dream Act? Gaffes? I can‘t wait to see Perry’s ad of all Obama’s gaffes, each one cutting to Perry saying Oops! Uh, I think I’ve been to…57 states. Oops! Navy Corpse man…Oops! The English embassy…Oops! It has to be Perry. How about Perry/Rubio!

  • @Darmok and Jalad My computer is old and slow, so I rarely comment, but I just had to say thank you for making my morning a little brighter. These articles always sadden me, and your sense of humor in responding really made me laugh out loud. I scanned through the comments to read all of yours! It is always better to laugh, and you certainly made one stranger do just that. Praise to God for your gift of laughter, and God bless you always.

  • This is the only explanation for this operation. Will the truth come out? In his arrogance, Obama let Sarah Brady know that gun control was being taken care of “under the radar”. Will a journalist ever ask him what he meant, and force him to call her senile? Remember the “senile” Percy Sutton who let the cat out of the bag about how Obama got into Harvard? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4EcC0QAd0Ug How many lives will be snuffed out before the truth is told?

  • Really? You want to give the Democrats fodder to say we are horrible people just looking for something to slam the President and First Lady over? Let‘s stick to the issue and the President’s policies. That is all we have to do. Please don’t go off on silly stuff. Besides, I think she said,”I should have worn those flats.” The follow up would be, “My feet are killing me.” Laura went for comfort. First Lady Obama obviously went for her fashion show photo op. Now, that is something we can comment about!

  • Listening to Ed has always made me sad. Reading these posts makes me sad, too. It is easier for evil people to pull you down to their level than it is for good people to pull evil people up. Looks like Laura, a beautiful person inside and out, has managed to pull Ed up. Power to Laura! Let’s all be careful not to let Ed pull us down. Let Laura pull us up!

  • There are mistakes, and there is God’s grace. I have told my children that accepting an apology is much harder than asking for one. I have always considered Ed a vile man. Sounds like he is going to use this as a teaching moment, for his children and hopefully for himself.

  • Just called the Washington number and got her sister’s office, but they transferred me to Loretta’s office. Nice man answered and graciously listened to me explain how my heart is broken by the incivility of Rep Sanchez’s comments. I asked for an apology on national tv, and he said he would pass the message on.
