  The fact that she said “never worked a day in her life” tells all. She meant that. She is back tracking and pretending it was a faux war when it was an overt SLAP to all mothers who made that choice and worked very hard.

  @PAVNVET Obesity and many other aliments are a problem in this country. You are assuming that the fat man in the bed next to you got his heart disease from obesity because you can see his weight. Working for a long time in a hospital, I have seen thin bypass patients. It is not healthier to be overweight, but to not hire someone simply by looking at them and determining they are too fat is wrong. It is an easy target and the last safe prejudice. Anyway, that is my thinking :)

  I think it is sad that in this country we have parades to celebrate a sexual lifestyle. Maybe next it will be a Fornicators Pride Parade, or Three is Better Than Two pride parade. What a sick country. He should be allowed to pass out what he wants as long as he is doing it respectfully.

  I would think the MOST important aspect of hiring a healthcare professional would be skill at their job and intelligence! I worked with some nurses who were more than merely overweight, They worked hard and were excellent. If they can do the job and do it well, should be the only criteria.
  What will it be next? Oh the elder patients have certain expectations for good looking people. We will only hire handsome and beautiful people. Also, being a thin person does not mean one is healthy.
  The last safe discrimination in this country is against large people. :(

  I do not think it is a good sign at all. I doubt God prefers either. What constitutes a hateful Christian? If you go to church and are gossiping or have racist views you are hateful. Now, in this world you are hateful if you believe in traditional marriage, that is wrong.
  Atheists do not give God glory. They also hurt the heart of God.
  If the pastor wants his flock to be loving then preach about kindness and preach against hypocrisy and a million other bad behaviors. I would not hold up a group of people that work to eliminate God as being preferred by God as opposed to a group of hateful Christians also hurting God.

  People who are Bible believing Christians believe homosexuality is a sin, the same as any other sin like fornication etc. For anyone to assert he is a hater is ridiculous/
  So now to some activists, you are a hater if you believe in traditional marriage.
  As much as I like Cameron, he caved and would not actually answer when Morgan asked him if it was sin.

  Chick fil a has a right to support traditional marriage and these people have a right to not like it
  What I see is that if Chick fil a was in support of gay marriage and a right wing group made fun if it, they would be called haters.
  There seems to be that famous word tolerance bandied always by the left and gay groups, but never afforded to others unless they are in agreement.

  If Jimmy Carter believes that Jesus thinks men sleeping with men is OK, then he is the poster boy for an apostate Christian. If Jesus told us fornication, adultery, etc were wrong, then certainly no rational person can think He condoned being gay. Also, Paul, who was Saul, saw Jesus on the road going to Demascus to collect and kill Christians, was renamed Paul by Jesus and had the Holy Spirit working in him all his ministry. Jimmy needs to read Romans 1.
