  Does Mrs. Graham-Lotz mean “any god” or her “god”? There is a reason we have a policy against religious testing for public office. Its about freedom. Mrs. Graham-Lotz is free to vote how she pleases, but don‘t attempt to force someone’s beliefs into the spotlight when there is not a need to do so.

  So where am I ridiculing you? Where am I calling you names? Where in ANY of my statements do you get that. Those people do not speak for me, only I do. I mean really, how hard is it to let me live my life and leave me alone? There are posts all through this comment thread of people laughing at others “going to hell”. I don’t lump you in with those folks, so why do you lump me in with the folks in the video. People are going to disagree with you, and you just have to deal with it.

  If it had been a black man that shot a white teen, the black man would be in jail awaiting trial and the white teen’s criminal history would not be press fodder but rather evidence in the trial. I think that situation should be applied here. Zimmerman needs to be put on trial to prove his level of responsibility.

  As an “open minded non-believer” I wish you all the happiness and freedom that I can in the practice of your own personal belief system. I hope you encounter no government intrusion or censorship in this practice. Please allow me to have the same freedom. Quoting bible verses at me isn’t helping. Chortling as you say I‘ll go to hell and find out one day that there is a god isn’t helping. Allow me to live me life in peace and freedom from coercion and I will fight for your right to do so as well. Please, I respect your choices. Respect mine in turn.
